The arival

After a shower I decided to take a moment to give myself a long look in the mirror, I wasn't bad looking but I wasn't winning any module contests either. My skin was darker than normal from being out in the sun on most days and apart from my arms, there were no muscles on my body. It had been a long while since I did any actual exercise or training, at the time it didn’t matter since I had lost all motivation for it. Sebastian was right though I can't just sit at home and do nothing with my life, so starting tomorrow I'm going to start trying to be more social, I guess starting to fight again is the best way to start since it's something I'm comfortable with.

Slipping back into my comfy bed I noticed something out of place, the door to my room was slightly open and I knew I had shut it. Annoyed I get up, thinking that Sebastian had come back I swing open the door… it wasn't Sebastian.

Toph, it was really her. She stood about 5'8 a few inches shorter than me, her hair was in a large black bun but unlike the show, it wasn't covering her now emerald green eyes. Her clothes looked more like guy clothing with loose-fitting jeans and a large red hoodie covering her still small chest.

"Can I help you?" I managed to mutter, still a bit shocked that she was actually standing here.

"You must be Dan.” she looks me up and down with a look of disappointment on her pale face. “I figured you’d be a kid by the way he described you, guess he wasn't far off."

Trying not to be offended and never one to take a jab without firing one back, I put on a fake smile. "I'm sorry little girl but the school's on the other side of town."

I expected an angry response but she just gave me a wide grin, "names Top” I smile back and give a giggle to defuse the situation, it seems to work as she lets out a small laugh as well.

"No I am not a kid, short stack, and don't expect me to be bossed around by a little girl."

Her face changed from a grin into a frown "oh so you think you could take me in a fight, big guy?." She moves up to try and fail to intimidate me.

"Not sure, but I'll definitely have a go at it." Moving my head now I look down into her eyes, they radiated confidence and I couldn't help but find myself falling into her green orbs. "Sadly not tonight" I pull back.

It had only been a few minutes but all the anger I felt towards Sebastian about setting up this meeting was now melting away. But I’m not just going to start fucking her, this isn’t some sort of porn story.

We sit down in the living room and after an explanation of that she was hired for my protection and that she can now see, we quickly hit it off. After a few more jabs at each other I show Toph to a guest bedroom and settle in for the night, this is definitely going to be a unique experience.
