The Walk

For the rest of the week, the two continued to meet for lunch during the week. Spencer also did his best to sneak in some cardio so he could keep up with Danielle (although the idea of lagging behind her nice ass had its own appeal). Dani pulled up by the Carter Trail. The two started to walk along the trail, indulging in the outdoors. As they strolled down the path, Spencer asked "So what do you think you'll pursue?"

"In the short term, I think I'll pursue photography."

"Well, I'm no expert, but I think you know how to take a photo."

"Awww, thanks."

"So, what about long-term?"

"Marry a rich, handsome man." Her face lit up with a smile.

After a chuckle, Spencer said "Guess I can't argue with that."

The two continue their hike whilst exchanging small talk and appreciating the scenery. The two found the peaceful walk rather soothing. That was until Danielle checked her watch. "Hey, don't you need to pick up Amy?"

"Oh shit." Spencer checked his own watch, realizing that by the time they got back to his house, they'd be late.

"We can pick her up in my car."

Spencer took a deep breath, knowing that going to Carter with Dani would not only ignite the rumor mill, but it would make his daughter aware that he is dating again. "Sure, let's go."
