The Velvet Room

I heard the hum of the choir before my eyes saw the distinct purple color of the room.

I knew where I was instantly. It seemed this time I was in a limo version of the velvet room. Sitting opposite me, was Igor, and his female assistant.

It resembled Elizabeth, but something was a little off.

"Welcome back," said Igor with a knowing smirk.

"It isn't often we have return visitors. Nor is it often, we have those pulling strings from so far away." I didn't know what Igor meant by that. He stared off into nowhere.

"This is truly a first time," said Igor, "I look forward to seeing what happens next."

The girl turned towards me, suddenly seeming interested.

"This is my assistant," said Igor, "Margaret."

She looked much like Elizabeth, but while Elizabeth had a much more fun personality, I could see Margaret was very professional.

Margaret was taller than Elizabeth, and prettier.

"You seem to have an interest in me," said Margaret,"Mr. Morooka." Definitely, I just didn't know if I should pursue it safely. Elizabeth could be anywhere.
