Night had fallen on Fuxian City, and a large crowd could be seen gathered at the CuIxium Zhang Grand Theater. Among them were many wealthy families and prominent businesspeople, and even elite families and clans from high society across China were in attendance.

But that right now it was on display and was part of the auction organized by his family, along with other artifacts and relics, which were to be auctioned off and sold to the highest bidder.

Bai Ninbing sighed in frustration, as she had had to step outside to get some fresh air. This was after listening to her father, Bai Rouling, deliver a pompous and arrogant speech as he recounted and boasted about the history of the Bai family.

As well as how the founder of his clan and the rest of his family came to be. It was all thanks to a deal struck by Bai Ninbing, the youngest daughter of the Bai clan, when she made a deal with a strange and mysterious foreign merchant just as she was thinking of selling her horse at the market.

That is why her grandparents, together with the Elders of the Bai Family, gave her that name in honor of the person who was the youngest daughter of the Bai Clan.

Even so, whenever Bai Ninbing, the current heiress of the Bia family, saw that clock, she couldn't help but feel a strange unease, almost like fear. Even her cousin Maria Bai told her and urged her to keep that thing locked away or bury it deep underground, deep in the mountains.

*(Luckily, I’ve already made sure no one can buy that watch)* — Bai Ninbing thought, a smile spreading across her face as she reflected on how she had managed to deceive not only her parents but even Mistress Lady herself.

“Well, well, it seems someone has underestimated me. But I'll admit, you're actually very smart and far too cunning for someone your age.” That's what Mistress Lady said in a melodious, amused voice as she stepped out of the shadows, taking Bai Ninbing by surprise.

At that point, she turned around and didn't even hesitate to lunge at the women Supervillain/Phantom Thief. The two began to fight, grappling with one another, and only one of them would emerge as the loser, while the winner would take it all.

[IN THE MEANTIME -- Cuixium Zhang Theater Auditorium]

Almost two hours had passed since the Bai Family’s auction had begun, and the scene inside the Grand Theater’s Grand Auditorium was in full view. Detective Gu Tienchen was dressed elegantly in a black jacket with white buttons, a red tie, a white shirt with red buttons on the sleeves, black jeans, white socks, black shoes, and a black version of his detective hat.

“Hmm, no doubt about it—with so many people gathered in one place. That woman won't take long to show up and put on a show before she pulls off her heist,” said Detective Gu, his expression serious as he narrowed his eyes, taking in the various tycoons and business executives—all members of billionaire families.

“Oh my, aren't you the famous Detective Gu Tienchen, the renowned and great [Ultimate Detective]?” said a female voice, in a sing-song tone that was both amused and mocking, catching the man's attention as he turned to look at the person.

But when Detective Gu looked closer, he saw that it was Bai Ninbing, wearing a strapless, low-cut dress with a short skirt. It showed off her beautiful, long legs, and she had a mischievous smile on her face, like a child who had just played the best prank in the world.
