"So you just defeated the goblins and Puk ran off?" Sophie asked Lexter.

"Yep, and I think I've figured a way out," he replied, "But it's going to require us traveling a bit more."

"Ugh... I can't believe we're still going to be here..." Sarah groaned.

"It's alright girls, we've gotten this far. I'm sure we'll be able to deal with whatever is ahead!" Lina cheered gently.

"That's right, my team on the outside may be fighting this Cryptid in real life as we speak," Agent Busty added, "We just need to do the best from our side. So what's the plan kiddo?"

Lexter began to explain his theory, which was truth mixed in with a little bit of his own narrative, "My theory is that this Puk guy is simply using some sort of power to put us all to sleep and then create an interconnected dream world that is shaped by him. What that means is that basically he's somehow able to send signals directly into our brains. He can shape the world around us, but he can't change who we are fundamentally in terms of personality or something."

"Hmm... okay so how do we escape?" Wendy asked.

"We just need to sever the connection," Lexter said, "I've noticed that this world has actually been quite simple. Even though we've been traveling, it's always been mostly grassy plains or forest. Goblins are the most common enemy, and villages are all nearly identical."

The party was all focused on Lexter as he finally revealed his plan.

"If we try to overload the system, we might be able to break the connection and get out. My plan is two stages. First, we travel as far as we can, we try to force Puk to expand his world to its limits," Lexter smiled, "Then, we unleash all of our abilities and magic at once at a single concentrated point. Puk probably made his enemies large or weak so that we never concentrated too much at a single spot. I'll bet that's how we break it!"

"Awesome, you're so smart Lexter!" Sophie exclaimed.

Lexter of course left out the part where traveling far wasn't necessary, it was just to buy some time for him to have a little more fun before they actually broke Puk's world.

Ashley trailed slightly behind. Something was off about this whole situation. Lexter was smart, but Ashley couldn't help but think that he wasn't being entirely truthful. If what he said about the concentration of spells was true, they should do it immediately and not give Puk any time to react...

All she could do was be patient and try and observe Lexter a bit more closely for the next few days.

Journal of Ashley the Mage - Day 1 after escaping Puk's goblins.

Lexter led us on a journey to travel as far to the edge of the fantasy world of Dungeons and Dickriding. I realize now that we agreed to play quite the dirty game at Lexter's house, but I guess it was harmless until that Cryptid Puk actually put us in it.

So far nothing suspicious to report. Lexter has actually been weirdly helpful, maybe he's warming up to my friends. Today, he and Sarah went on a scouting mission. I followed carefully behind with my Presence Concealment spell. I have to stay a certain distance away from them or else my spell will wear off, but I can at the very least observe them from afar.

They entered an area of tall grass, and at some point, Sarah must've dropped something. She knelt down into the grass and disappeared while Lexter kept a lookout. He was looking down a lot though, probably trying to help Sarah find something, but he'd also look up into the sky from time to time. I wish I could be close enough to hear them, but I didn't want them realizing that I was being randomly suspicious of my own friends.

I went back since Sarah was really taking her time down in the tall grass. Maybe she crept somewhere else when I wasn't paying attention?

Journal of Ashley the Mage - Day 3 after escaping Puk's goblins.

I don't quite remember what happened yesterday, but I think I was helping Lexter chart out the area we've explored so far while everyone else was setting up camp.

Today Lexter decided to take Wendy and Agent Busty into the woods to hunt for some food. I was curious as to why they didn't bring Sarah, the ranger.

I lost track of them in the woods, and suddenly heard loud slapping sounds coming from deep in the forest. There was also some cries, which scared me a bit. For some reason I got a strange flashback of being roughly fucked by Lexter when I heard those sounds... I figured that the team may have run into some sort of scary monster, so I decided to head back again. I don't actually remember ever... nevermind...

They kept going, using every last bit of mana and energy to break the walls of Puk's realm. Finally, the concentrated point exploded in light. The entire world was washed in a white light as the whole party was ripped out of the false realm...
