The Homestead
“Welcome home-home,” Cass said, holding Cattie’s hand as we reached the front stoop of our condo. It was ‘townhome’ style, a string of five all attached together. We had a middle unit, which meant our ‘yard’ was about four square feet of grass out front and we didn’t have a driveway. Thankfully the parallel parking spot in front of our place was open so I’d been able to pull right up.
“No, hold on,” Cattie said. “This is definitely your home, guys. We’ll eventually have a home together, but this one is yours.”
“Robbie, tell her she’s home,” Cass said, turning to me with a stern look. I was balancing four bags of groceries in my arms and gave her a look, but she gave me one back so I carefully set them down.
“Catherine,” I said as I then took the bag she’d been carrying under one arm from her and set it down as well.
“Robbie,” she said, cocking her head to the side and giving me a look that said, ‘Really? We’re doing this?’
I stood back up and took a breath, then scooped my hands under her jaw and pulled her to me in a deep, proper kiss. No tongue, not really all that sexual, just firm and intimate. She matched me, her stance relaxing a bit as our lips worked until she sighed a little through her nose and melted against me.
When I pulled away I kept one hand on her cheek and jaw and let the other one fall down to her hip. If one of our neighbours were looking out a window or walking down the street they would have been shocked at the display - Cass and I had lived there for over a year and a half and they all knew we were a couple. Now here I was kissing someone else like this, in front of her.
“Cattie, are you mine?” I asked her, using the lower tone of voice that I’d started to associate with being her Dom. It wasn’t a role I was fully comfortable with yet - I probably had hours of YouTube watching and article reading to do before I got there, but we both knew what the tone meant for us.
She looked up at me and took a breath, not of hesitation, but of serenity. “I’m yours, Master,” she said.
I groaned, just a little, in my chest at that beautiful, wild, loving statement. “I love you, and you’re mine,” I said. “And that means I’m yours. This is where I live, at least for now, but that means you are always, always at home here. With me. With us. Always.”
Cattie looked at me like she was hearing a roaring in her ears, overwhelmed, and I kissed her again and then scooped her up in a bridal carry. “Cass, could you get the door, baby?”
“Abso-fucking-lutely,” Cass said, fishing her keys out of her purse and unlocking the front door, pushing it open and stepping aside.
“Robbie,” Cattie sighed, looking at me like I was a king and an idiot at the same time.
I carried her through the door, stopping two steps in and kissing her as I slowly set her down. She kissed me back, this time with tongue as she accepted our insistence. Once she had her footing I slid my hands down to her waist, then back to her ass, giving her a double-handed squeeze as I growled for her.
When I pulled away I looked her in the eyes. “Welcome home, Catherine,” I said sincerely.
“Thanks, Tiger,” she sighed, acquiescing and accepting.
I let her go and turned in place, stepping back out and startling Cass as I grabbed the grocery bag she was holding and set it down on the stoop before picking her up front to front. She was laughing and clung to me like a koala as I carried her inside as well, pivoting and putting her back to the wall and kissing her thoroughly as she held onto me. Once we were done I grinned at her. “Welcome home, Cassidy.”
“Glad to be here,” she said, her smile faltering a little as she ran one set of fingers through my hair. “And thankful you’re still my home. Forever.”
I couldn’t find an answer to that, knowing that she’d worried for years that I could leave her when I found out the truth. So I kissed her again, lightly. Reassuringly.
“Alright,” I finally said, letting her down. “Let’s get these bags inside before someone sees them sitting outside and decides it’s their lucky day.”
The girls and I worked together quickly, getting the groceries in first and Cass starting to put away the frozen and refrigerated items while Cattie and I worked on the luggage. Once the front hall was piled high with all our bags, Cattie joined Cass in the kitchen while I went out to swap around our vehicles. There was a small parking lot for our building around one side, but it wasn’t well-lit and was somewhat out of sight from the road so I preferred to park my truck back there and keep Cassidy’s car up front where it was more accessible for her.
Vegas, especially the more suburban areas, wasn’t especially dangerous but it was still a city with all the drawbacks. And it was Vegas - just because the norm wasn’t bad didn’t mean that wild shit didn’t happen.
Once I had the cars swapped around I came back in, hearing the girls still chatting in the kitchen as they put away groceries. I took the opportunity, while I was kicking off my shoes, to check my phone and respond to the texts I’d been getting. The girls - my girls - seemed like they were making an effort not to overwhelm me. I knew they had a group chat that they were being more active with, so I’d mostly received little notes to keep me updated. I’d gotten a text from Terra about boarding the plane, and the pictures from Zenya and Becca along with updates that Becca, Wanda and Heels had boarded their flight. I’d also heard from Leia, who had woken up and been told about the picture from earlier.
The only girls I hadn’t heard from were Ami, who was solo road-tripping back home, and Wanda. We’d agreed that, until she’d confronted Brodi, she wanted to keep her distance. ‘My divorce needs to be for me, not about us,’ she’d said. And she was right.
I just wished I could check in with her.
‘We’re home safe,’ I texted all the girls who I didn’t have in my house, other than Wanda. Some wouldn’t get it until they landed, but that was OK. ‘Miss you already. Soon isn’t soon enough.’
Pocketing my phone, I headed back to the kitchen and stopped in the doorway, raising both my eyebrows.
“What?” Cattie asked with a smirk. “You did say I’m home, so we figured I should get comfortable.”
They were both topless. Gloriously topless. Four fantastic tits staring me in the eye as they both sat on the counter and kicked their feet like little kids as they grinned at me.
