The First First Date

Andy had done all the preparation he needed, including reading a four hundred page novel and lining up his drink with Gemma for the next evening, which meant he was able to get to his book club right on time and feeling relaxed.

The first thing he noticed on arrival was that Sara had dressed up more than she did the previous time and had her hair down, something he hadn't seen from her before.

She looked gorgeous, and he was excited to think he would be taking her out on a date as soon as they were done here. It would be his first, not just with Sara but anyone, and it seemed strange to him that he would achieve his first date a day after getting his first kiss.

Sara had saved a space for Andy next to her on the couch, and looked very happy to see him. He put the bottle of wine he had brought - still respectable, but less showy than last time - in between them to be shared, which felt like a nice 'we're together' statement to make to the rest of the room, then waited for his turn to speak.

When the time came, Andy delivered his review of the selected book even more confidently than he had before but, if he'd thought Sara's new found fondness for him would spare him a grilling from her, he would have been mistaken. He was able to answer all of her questions this time around though, and she was effusive in her praise for his responses, probably more so than they really warranted.

After passing that test he remained silent, and waited patiently until Kara brought the session to an end.

The professor gave Andy a subtle, encouraging wink as he led Sara out of her apartment. He then walked his date to the same bar he had taken Tamara to the previous evening.

Already loosened up by the bottle of wine they had shared, conversation flowed easily between the pair, and what could have been a high pressure situation felt quite natural and effortless.

"I'm glad we ran into each other in class" Andy's date told him, after they had chatted for an hour or so that had truly flown by "Most people don't really get me. I make no secret of the fact I came to Uni to work hard and try and get a first. If you're open about that, you get dismissed as a nerd"

"You are a nerd" Andy teased her "But you're the sexiest nerd I've ever come across"

Woah! Where did that come from? It was unheard of for Andy to be so bold, but the line had just slipped out before his brain had the chance to filter it. He briefly worried it had been too much too soon, but Sara's smile subtly widened, and she began tracing the rim of her wine glass with her finger.

"Wow, so you're really going for it this evening, huh?" she challenged him "I'd assumed this was a getting to know each other better kind of a drink"

"It was supposed to be, but the way you look this evening brought something out in me" he told her "Every time I look at you tonight, I get the same poem in my head"

Okay. It was time to bring out the big guns.

"She walks in beauty, like the night of cloudless climes and starry skies; And all that's best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes"

It was at that moment Andy knew he had her. For once in his life, he had played his hand impeccably.

"Why don't we finish our drinks and head back?" Sara suggested "You can stop off in my room for a bit if you'd like?"

The second Andy got Sara over the threshold to her dormitory he pushed her against the wall, kicked the door shut and began passionately making out with her. That was two kisses in two days now, from two different girls, after a lifetime of nothing. This felt just as hot as his embrace with Aurora had been the previous day, though also quite different. The punk girl had gone slower and deeper, with more tongue involved, while Sara was urgent, energetic and way more active with her hands.

Sensing he had the green light to do so, Andy began unbuttoning her blouse. She didn't stop him, and it soon fell open to reveal as perfect a pair of breasts as he could ever hope to see. He reached out to feel them when..

"Wait"

"Let's slow things down just a little bit" Sara told Andy as she pulled back from his kiss and gently pushed him away "Obviously I like you, but I didn't come here to get laid during Freshers' week. We'll have three years together. If you like me enough to be a little patient, we'll be fully intimate before too long, I promise"

The fact Sara was laying down these conditions whilst knowingly leaving her flawless bare tits on full display only made this sudden roadblock all the more agonising.

"How about tomorrow?" Andy asked hopefully.

"Not tomorrow" Sara giggled as she began buttoning her blouse back up "I'd like you to show a little more restraint that, so I know I wasn't just your Freshers' Week conquest. I'm only talking about a couple of weeks"

That would have been fine under normal circumstances, but Andy didn't have a couple of weeks. All he had for now was this one over and over and over again. He managed to calm his racing mind a little. All this really meant was that he needed to keep raising Sara's affection levels until she was happy to break her own rules. He'd already got further than he thought he would this evening, so the smart thing to do now would be to take this like a champ, and raise her appreciation of him further still.

"I totally respect that, Sara" he told her "In fact, if anything, it makes me want you even more"

"Now that is the best answer you've given all night" Sara purred as she lurched forward and wrapped her arms around Andy's neck, grinding her body up against his "I promise you, when it does finally happen between us, I'll make sure it was worth the wait"

Much like the day before, Andy departed a romantic encounter that had gone far better than he could have dreamed of when he first arrived with an overriding sense of frustration. Being constrained to a five day loop was really starting to cramp his style. He was now making progress with multiple girls, but it didn't feel like he had long enough to build anything truly meaningful.

As Andy walked back to his room, he could hear now all too familiar tunes pumping up from the floor below him. He had too little energy for a sleepless night with how hectic his week had become, and Elaine was fine about turning the noise down last time, so he decided to pay her another visit.

"Hi, can I help you?"

"Yeah, I've had a long day and I was just wondering if..."

"Hey Andy!"

Leah had spotted him, and walked over to the entrance to say hello.

"Wait, do you two know each other?" Elaine asked.

"Yeah, Andy's from my home town. We went to school together"

"Oh, nice!" Elaine smiled at him "Wanna come in and join us?"

It really had been a long day, but there were certain invitations that were too good to turn down.

"Sure!" he nodded appreciatively, as he stepped inside the model's bedroom.
