The Exchange was an organization that specialized in selling... well, not quite everything, but certainly more than was normal. Relevant to you and your daughters, that included people. One of your daughters happened across their website through a combination of thorough searching and sheer chance a while back, and the sight of naked men and women being collared and sold-

Well. It had excited you all more than a bit.

You had gotten in touch with the Exchange through one of the established systems, by necessity convoluted considering what they sold, and made arrangements for the three of you to become new products. You had then received instructions that you all followed dutifully - you had quit your job earlier in the week, naturally. You had been estranged from the rest of your family ever since you got pregnant, so you didn't need to find a way to break off contact with them, but you had let your neighbors know that you would soon be "moving away". Your daughters had done similar with their school acquaintances. You'd asked whether you ought to sell your possessions and were reminded that products don't own things, and then informed that the repo men the Exchange was sending would pick up those items when they came to collect you, and that the Exchange would also handle the selling of your house. Your bank information had also been turned over - you wouldn't need it anymore. You owned nothing.

Now, as instructed, the three of you kneel naked in the front hall, watching the closed, unlocked front door, and wait.
