The Ex

The third contestant arrived in another flash. This time, it was a conservatively dressed woman, wearing a loose fitting top and a floor-length skirt. She wears a crucifix on a chain around her neck, which she begins to clutch tightly when she sees Cassiel, muttering a fervent prayer.

Henry smiles when he sees her. "Oh, this is going to be hilarious."

The new arrival glares at him. "I can't believe you! Even in the presence of an angel you show no respect! Your sinful-"

Cassiel cuts her off. "Fortunately for everyone, I'm not that kind of angel. Introduce yourself."

She responds as commanded. "My name is Grace Fisher, I'm 26, I have d-cup breasts, and I'm Straight. I'm working as a waitress until I find the right man to marry and settle down with. My hobby is embroidering. I dated Henry for about a year, but we split up because he wouldn't let go of his ungodly lifestyle. I don't know who the woman next to him is, but I assume she's some harlot he convinced to fornicate with him."

Jane smiles serenely in response to the insult. "That's me!"

Sandra speaks up. "For the record, the 'ungodly lifestyle' she's referring to was continuing to hang out with me even though I had a girlfriend at the time."

Grace's head turns suddenly, fixating on Sandra. "You!" Her voice is loaded with vitriol. "It's your fault he went astray! Influencing him with your- your unnatural proclivities" She shudders in apparent revulsion at the idea.

"The fact I like to eat pussy sometimes you mean?" Sandra smirks at Grace, who looks faintly ill.

Cassiel says "As amusing as this is, your bickering will have to wait. We're still only halfway through our list of contestants!"
