Ulal creates a new outfit from scratch. First he takes a simple grey robe that is, for all intents and purposes, blank. No enchantments, no decoration, no runes, only a grey robe that ends at knee height and is open below the belt to be worn with a pair of pants.

The first thing he adds is a metallic plate at the chest. A slight green hue gives away the involvement of Orichalcum. It has a rough, dull look to it and is held in place by several belts and enchantments. A dark ruby is set into the centre of the place and from there a network of enchantments spreads all over the outfit through lines of runes.

The belts of the chestplate are covered in runes as well that connect it to the pauldrons he creates next. The shoulder protection are made from three smaller plates nailed to a piece of leather. They as, well as every other bit of metal Ulal creates from her on, have the green hue of Orichalcum to it and look quite rough in design. The arcane glow that pulsates through the armour seems to be tainted on the left shoulder, changing from the clear purple to a darker shade, twisted by the demonic energies of his left arm.

Covering the whole arm from the shoulder downwards is a segmented plate gauntlet. While It hides the demonic arm from sight one could argue that the this clawed metal monstrosity with the darkened runes is even more conspicuous. However Ulal doesn’t care, this marvel of enchanting allows his human and demonic power to strengthen each other, putting even his old staff to shame.

Sometimes when he clenches a fist or moves his elbow a small amount of black smoke is released into the air. This comes from the fact that below the armour is in a state of pure energy rather than having taken form and this energy seeps from between the segments. Thanks to enchantments the plate feels just like real skin to Ulal.

At the belt a highly decorated belt hold everything in place. The belts buckle has the shape of Uklag’s old and Ulal’s current symbol, the three eyes, and is made from grey iron. In addition a chain hangs from the belt that something could be attached too.

The pants follow the original robes in design Simple grey cloth that is cut wide for ease of movement and comfort rather than looks. Only a few line of runes run down to the boots, otherwise the pants are just as blank as they look.

The boots are made from metal reinforced leather, plates protecting the sensible parts of the footing to make them durable for long marshes. Runes are burned into the fabric or carved into the metal and put the circuit to completion.

Finally in a somewhat mundane task he adds a flap at the back so that his tail won’t rip through his work. Luckily a similar thing isn’t necessary for the wings, the black smoke simply seeps through the cloth.

With his new outfit ready (and after deactivating the enchantments for now, stopping the constant arcane pulsing) he begins to work on greater things. Or he would if Catherine wouldn’t take the moment he dresses to wake up.
