The Day Continues

When Penny woke up, she found that her head was in Gwen's lap, who was looking pretty uncomfortable. She sat up, and Gwen instantly stretched out her legs.

"You didn't have to stay," said Penny, her voice soft and weak. Gwen sighed and stood up.

"I couldn't just leave you. Clearly, you've been traumatized. It's not right to just abandon you," said Gwen.

"I deserve it," Penny mumbled, looking away from her roommate. Gwen sighed and turned Penny's face to look at her.

"I don't believe that. Sure, you're a bitch, and what you tried to do to Gabby was terrible. But I don't think you're beyond redemption, especially if you fully dedicate yourself to it," she said. Penny looked at her in surprise for a while before nodding.

"I want to, I really do. I don't want to become like her, I can't," she said. Gwen stood up and offered her a hand. Penny hesitated, but let Gwen pull her up.

"Despite my better judgement, I'm going to help you. Now come on, time to get going," said Gwen.

"Wait, I know that everyone has a duel this round. Is there any way I can help you with yours?" asked Penny.

"I have to transform people," said Gwen. Penny took Gwen's hand and nodded.

"Then do your worst. Let it all out," she said. Gwen looked into Penny's eyes in shock. Not only was the other woman willing to do this, Gwen could tell that this wasn't just because of her transformation. She genuinely wanted to make things right.

"Alright, but I'm not holding back."

Mike was enjoying a nice breakfast with his sister and girlfriends.

"Mike, I'm going to be fine. You don't have to coddle me," said Bri.

"I know I know. But I'm allowed to be worried about my sister," he said. Bri sighed and rolled her eyes, but she was smiling.

"Don't worry Master, we'll take care of her," said Lucy, who was nuzzling a very flustered Gabby.

"Pika Pika," said Lucy's pikachu, who was playing with Bri's bunny. Mike's dragon was sleeping in the corner along with Gabby's bear.

"I still find all of this pretty weird," said Bri, looking at the two predators.

"Hi guys," said Gwen as she walked up with Penny. Gwen's horse and Penny's tiger were behind them.

"Good morning Master. And you too Mistress Gabby, Mistress Lucy and Mistress Bri."

"Um, what happened?" asked Mike.

"I gave Mistress Gwen permission to do whatever she wanted, and she chose this," said Penny.

"She wants to change, so I didn't hold back," said Gwen, taking a step forward. Unfortunately, she stepped on the Pikachu's tail.

"CHUUUUUUUUU!" it cried out, unleashing a powerful thunderbolt. The attack hit all the humans, including Lucy, causing her to add electrity of her own. The blast was so big that even Duma got hit.

When the attack ended and everyone shook it off, Alex's wolf ran over to Mike with a note in it's mouth.

"Looks like May is waiting for me. Sorry guys, but I gotta go."
