Chapter 3

Who is her new master?
The Captain of an Alien Ship
This story branch will start on a bit of a tangent. Just bare with me.
"Commander Dothan Rhaegar, step forward," the admiral commanded. Dothan inhaled deeply then walked toward the podium with his four arms folded behind his back.
"Commander, your navy commends you for your outstanding service during the battle of Crab Nebula-"
More like massacre, Dothan thought.
I heard that, the admiral thought back between speaking.
Apologies, sir, Dothan thought.
Look, just play along, the admiral said.
"High command has ordered that you receive the Star of Aurelias," the admiral said verbally for the benefit of the audience. It was the single most prestigious award in the entire Imperial Military.
And I don't deserve it, Dothan thought.
Just take the damn thing, the admiral commanded. Dothan saluted as the medal was pinned to his uniform.
"You have also been recommended for command of your own ship," the admiral continued, "Your Navy and your Empire thanks you. Congratulations... Captain." The audience applauded and Dothan returned to his seat for rest of the ceremony, wishing that his men were here to receive their recognitions as well. It dragged on for what felt like an eternity, as these things usually do, and Dothan couldn't wait to get out of the stuffy auditorium.
The corridor was much cooler, and his species, aurelians, ran a very high body temperature. Finally he had space to breathe and relax with his thoughts. Or so he thought. A low moan drew his attention to a small sitting area with a few chairs and tables. Another Aurelian, not soldier caste but a noble, was pounding his poor sex **** raw. It was hardly unusual to see pleasure slaves being used in public, but it was rude if it became too distracting.
The **** was a female of a species he recognized but had never seen in with own four eyes, a human. Even though they were all clones, they were still incredibly rare because they had originally gone extinct. This made them incredibly valuable as slaves, especially if they were mentally and physically customized.
But Dothan had no interest watching another male have sex, so he turned around and walked down the corridor for some privacy.
Hello Captain, he heard a sultry voice inside his head. He sensed a female's presence behind him, and turned around into her arms. He and his mate, Akarra, gently and lovingly nipped each other's chins then he slipped two of his hands into two of hers as they walked down the hall.
It's so good to see you again, he spoke to her telepathically.
I want to do more than just see you, she spoke back and fondled his cock with her telekinesis.
Stop it! he snarled We're in public.
Akarra looked over her shoulder at the human who still getting railed from behind by her owner.
He doesn't seem to care, Akarra thought.
You're not my **** either, Dothan said.
I don't understand the appeal of mammals, Akarra said, without scales, they all look like unborn hatchlings.
Yeah I have no idea, Dothan stammered but his mate caught his lie.
You're a mammophile aren't you? she asked.
I can be attracted to their delicate shape, Dothan said, Besides, nagas have made me enjoy tits. Larger breasts are tied to higher fertility.
Do you ever feel, guilty though, Akarra asked.
How so?
I don't know. It's just... we cloned them back from extinction just to make slaves out of them.
Therefore it's only fair that they serve us, Dothan explained, If anything they should feel honored to.
I guess, Akarra said, Speaking of creating life, I'm pregnant.
Congratulations to you too!
We won't know for certain until they've hatched, but you're probably the father.
How many eggs? Dothan asked.
A clutch of six.
I can't wait to meet them, Dothan said, Unfortunately I won't be here to see them hatch.
Do you have tonight free? Akarra asked while broadcasting her arousal straight into his mind.
For you? Anytime, he said.
The next morning he said goodbye to his mate, then took a shuttle to the Naval Spaceport. On his arrival he was surprised to see several spacers salute him as he stepped onto the dock. He was captain now of his own ship. "At ease," he ordered and they all stood down except for a short young Aurelian female.
"Good morning, captain," she said, "I am Starris, your new yeoman. I've been ordered to guide you to the ship."
"Thank you," Dothan said, "First order of business, I sent a list of names to high command, specialists and officers who I'd prefer on my ship. Have they arrived yet?"
"Most of them, yes," Starris said then showed him the list. The ones who had arrived were checked off while the rest were identified as "Arrival Pending," and only a pair of names who were listed as "Denied."
"I really don't feel comfortable leaving without those two," Dothan said, "What about ship systems, give me the short version. Are there any emergencies I should know about."
"No emergencies, but there is a whole laundry list of issues," Starris said, "Our best estimate is that we can be underway in a week's time."
"I'll reserve my judgement for when I see it, but it's rarely that straightforward," Dothan said. Next they turned the corner and he saw it sitting a the far end of the dock. His very own ship, the Fanir. It was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen, but he felt a pang of guilt in his chest. So many men had to die for him to get here and for the damnable medal on his chest. It wasn't fair.
Unfortunately his yeowman heard him think that, so he was **** to push those thoughts aside as he walked down the boarding chute.
"ATTENTION! CAPTAIN ON DECK!" a female naga shouted. The entire crew, all three-hundred of them, were lined up three rows deep on either side of the main ramp. In unison they stamped their feet, those that had feet, and saluted their new captain. The officers he had requested were all in front and he nodded to each of them as he walked by.
"Ensign, follow me," he ordered the naga woman.
"AT EASE!" she shouted then slithered after him.
"Hello, sir," she said.
"Hello, Lisira," he said. They had served on the same ship many times and there was no-one he would rather go into space with than her. Nagas were almost as intelligent has aurelians without mental mods, and she was the most disciplined, cool-headed soldier he had ever met.
It didn't hurt that she incredibly easy on the eyes. The way her long, sinuous body coiled as she moved was almost hypnotic, to say nothing of her sharp eyes and her immaculate face. They'd mated many times while on leave, but now she was under his chain of command, so those days were probably behind them.
"I've been informed that my ship is not ready to launch," Dothan said, "Why is that, Lisira?"
"Among other things someone found a rodent in the galley," she began.
"A nuisance but we can live with that," Dothan said.
"Backed up plumbing..."
"That can be fixed while under way," Dothan said.
"Software glitches with the portside targeting computer..."
"Okay now that is serious," Dothan said, "What's happening?'
"Request for a firing trajectory returns an error message. Something to do with the range finder, we're working as fast as we can to resolve it."
"What about fuel, radiation shielding, are the inertial dampeners up to date?" Dothan asked.
"I'll send the full report to your quarters, Captain," Starris said.
"Thank you, Starris," Dothan said, "Here's my mandate, our priority needs to be fixing any critical systems. Save all other work until we're underway. If we need any components to make that happen, order them immediately. And if we can't get them, we make them ourselves."
"Yes, sir," Lisira said.
"Now that that's out of the way," Dothan said, "Give me the grand tour."
In a week's time, the _Fafnir _was finally beginning to resemble a functional warship. As expected they found more issues as they resolved the current ones. All of them minor, but there were enough of them that he wasn't confident launching into space without most of them resolved. However, slowly, but surely, the list was ticked off. Just as well, they had their orders to launch the next day.
Throughout that time he also received a few small gifts from old friends and comrades, congratulating him on his promotion, but the last one was the most intriguing. He received a message that he was requested in the cargo bay, and the quartermaster was throwing a fit when he arrived.
As usual they all saluted him when he entered the bay, and he silently shook his head. He wouldn't get used to that for a while.
"What's the situation?" Dothan asked. The quartermaster led him to a pod that was resting on the ground where a courier bot hovered a short distance above it.
"SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR CAPTAIN RHAEGAR," the robot said.
"Now I've asked the toaster here multiple times what's inside it, " the quartermaster said, "but it says-"
"THE PACKAGE IS FOR THE CAPTAIN ONLY," the robot said.
"How do I know this isn't a bomb?" the quartermaster asked.
"Have you scanned for any explosives, radiation, or toxins?"
"It's a sealed pod, captain," the quartermaster said, "If there's anything in there I can't detect it." Dothan approached it cautiously then extended his consciousness into the capsule. He detected the faintest hint of a heartbeat.
"Let me see the shipping details," he said.
To Dothan, From Akarra
"It's from my mate," Dothan said, "Or at least it says it is."
"THE PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED WITH A NOTE," the robot said, then a door opened in its chest to dispense a letter in a sealed envelope. Dothan allowed the quartermaster to scan the envelope for anything hazardous, just in case it wasn't from Akarra, then Dothan opened so only he could read it.
Dear Captain,
You're moving up in the galaxy, and I want everyone to know it. As nobility now, your lifestyle needs to reflect your new status. Here is a gift befitting the captain of a war frigate, something to keep your bed warm when I'm not there. I have already taken care of the legalities and permits, so the being in this pod belongs to you now.
Love, Akarra.
"Send it up to my quarters," Dothan commanded. He didn't get to it until the evening and almost considered letting the pod sit unopened until they were underway. They were supposed to launch in the morning and there was so much to prepare. But he was exhausted. If he didn't relax for a just a moment he would be too tired the next morning.
When he entered his quarters that night, he sat down on his bed and nearly forgot the hibernation pod in the middle of the room. Then he figured it would be rude not to at least see what was inside. Akarra was a noble, but a **** could still set one back a large sum. He carefully read the instructions to safely open the pod without endangering who was inside it, then the metallic lid popped open revealing the inner chamber which was all glass.
Dothan gasped out loud and took a step back in his shock.
"A human female!" Akarra must have remembered their conversation back at the promotion ceremony. This really was too much. He didn't deserve such a luxurious, rare ****. Not that he was about to give her away. He was nobility now, and that came with certain expectations. Impression was everything in the empire, and a human **** girl would make it clear that he was someone of importance, whether he wanted to be or not.
He inhaled then exhaled deeply and activated the pod's activation sequence. The woman's heartbeat increased from hibernating to merely sleeping, and her core body temperature raised to natural levels. She would awake as soon as the pod was filled with oxygen, but first Dothan made sure all of her vitals were healthy. He made a mental note to have the ship's medical officer look at her later, but for now she seemed perfectly healthy.
Without further ado, Dothan opened the glass chamber inside the pod and air rushed in. Immediately, the human woman's eyes shot open and she woke gasping for air. She sat up in the pod too quickly and she slumped over the side as she felt light-headed.
Now that her upper body was free of the pod, Dothan could admire her properly. Her body was different from his in almost every way, and she was so tiny, almost half his height. He found her smooth scaleless skin and golden hair very exotic and intriguing, and her breasts were the same shape as Lisira's, though smaller.
Since she was a clone, her serial number and barcode were tattooed onto her right shoulder. Her designation was Z-03.
She looked around in fear, but she was temporarily blind after waking up from hibernation. She also had a splitting headache, and every one of her muscles was sore since the pod stimulated them to prevent atrophy.
"Where am I?" she cried.
My quarters, Dothan said to her telepathically, I am the captain of this ship, and you are now my ****.
She shivered with pleasure at that word just as she had been conditioned to.
"Hello, Master," she said breathlessly.
What should I call you? he asked.
"My designation is Z-0-3," she said, "But my creators called me Zoe."
Let's have a better look at you. Then he gently levitated her out of the pod so she was suspended in mid air.
