The Bat Suite

It was a sealed soundstage, set up like a cave. Fake stalactites and stalagmites, an uneven stone effect for floor and ceiling, track lighting overhead, cameras on dollies... and in the center of it all, a great bed shaped like the infamous signal. Black satin sheets, bat-shaped pillows...off to one side Lois could see a box of sex toys marked "props," a costume holding various familiar cowls and costumes, and a matte black curtain that pulled back to reveal a small bathroom, complete with shower.

"You'll need to stay here until you're assigned a client," Maria showed her the intercom near the door. "The main door is locked."

"Go where?" Lois pitched her voice husky, commanding.

Maria held up a small bag of white powder. She didn't meet Lois' eye. "It...look, sometimes it helps. It's just cocaine. Not crack or anything." The "Wonder Woman" bit her lip and looked at Lois. "Did you...want to do a line with me?"
