The Basic Attributes

I couldn't get over how cool I looked and sounded! The best part about it was that I had the ability to back it up! There's going to be a way to look at a summary of where I stand, right? A hud or something? And just as I thought the word "HUD" something popped up in my vision, it was an overview of my character or... an overview of me to be more accurate.

Holy shit! This was a really good setup for me. Although now that I think about it I am a monster that wouldn't regularly be at level one. This would make starting out much easier though, even if it seemed a little high regardless of if I'm a monster or not. And then, with my resistances, I will already be very hard to damage. Unless I come across a wielder of light magic... like a paladin or something.

I still felt very human, at least emotionally. mayhaps it was because of the "Humanity" vow from the light goddess? That would make sense. There was a part of me that felt emotionless though as if I could still kill or **** a human without dwelling on it too much. Ultimately though, it was probably a good thing. In my previous life, I wouldn't be able to stand the guilt of killing someone, I would probably turn myself in if I had.

My old life... it was strange to think that this was my life now, I didn't even have a job in my past life. I went to college on scholarships and grants alone, which I was lucky to have gotten. My whole life was just school, I didn't really do anything else. And now, in this world, I didn't exactly know what I should do, or what my goals should be. However, that didn't seem too hard to remedy, after all, the goddesses did give him somewhat of an idea.

And with that, I decided to begin wandering. This lake seemed special to me somehow though so I made a mental note of its whereabouts if I ever wanted to return. As I wander I will certainly do as you do in an MMO and perhaps some other things... things that the dark goddesses said I could partake.
