The Basement

You tap your hand against the map several times before you stand up straight and head to the basement. Jenny means well but you should probably tell her to cool it with her matchmaking attempts. You walk through the doors and down an ominously lit staircase when you hear something. A horrible ringing sound, it feels like it's almost burrowing into your head, seeming to come from everywhere in the house all at once. You clutch your head - and then it's gone.

"What the hell was that...?" You mutter to yourself, there are a few other people in the staircase but they don't seem to have noticed anything - one even gives you a strange look as he passes. It couldn't have been your imagination...right?

You shake your head. Whatever that was, it's not important right now...probably. You continue on your way, entering into the basement properly. You see a long hallway - to one side the Succubus Dungeon, to the other the Dracula's Tomb and the Crypt of the Brides. If you're being honest both of them sound like they might appeal to the part of Jenny's brain that enjoys trashy romance novels. Interestingly the hallway keeps going, seemingly endlessly, but you don't remember anything else on the map. Maybe it leads to a staff area - or a late addition?
