The Aunt and Cousins

"You can stay with Your aunt Susan and your cousins." Lauren's mother said. "They have an extra large pop up tent and I'm sure will have plenty of room for you."

"What!? But... I can't stay with them!" Lauren objected.

"You should have thought of that before you were so careless and lost all your things." Her mother chided, clearly annoyed at Lauren's immature behavior.

The last thing Lauren wanted was to be spending more time with her aunt and cousins. Aunt Susan was a bit crazy, everyone knew. She was bubbly and nice, but controlling and with a quick temper. Besides that, Lauren could hardly stand her cousins. Eric and Jenna were a few years younger than Lauren, and she'd always viewed them as annoying kids. True, they were over 18 now, but they still seemed to Lauren like the same annoying little brats they always were. She used to babysit them occasionally, and had to resort to **** measures to make them behave.

That was a long time ago though. Now everyone was grown up. But, in some ways that made everything worse. Her cousin Eric clearly had a crush on her (the little creep!) and she always caught him staring. And Lauren resented Jenna, who had the curves Lauren had to fake. Why did everyone in her family look like swimsuit models, and she had to wear Spanx and falsies to even appear to have such a figure?! It wasn't fair!

These were the bitter thoughts going through Lauren's mind as she reluctantly headed over to her aunt's camping site...
