That Next Week Or So

Leah thought about how she should approach the next week. It seemed like each week went by slower than the last. She couldn't wait for Summer, though she was looking forward to Spring Break when the wedding was set. Though at this point she could settle for Christmas break.

Leah considered trying to just avoid the Principal as much as she could. She might have to cut back on her efficiency at school but it could be worth it if she pushed her luck.

Leah also thought about just taking some "sick time." A day or two of some "sudden" illness might be the perfect thing. She could stay home relax. Cuddle with Jonathan on the couch when she wasn't snuggled up with a good book.

Leah also figured she could just be a good teacher and help around the school when needed. Busying herself seemed like a good option.

Leah even considered being...proactive with Mr. Howard. She needed tenure. Maybe she would "visit" him. It couldn't hurt her chances.
