Thank her and leave

John starts to get very flustered and says, “oh thank you very much you did not have to do that! That is really nice.” To anyone else it might have seemed obvious what she was doing but not to John he was completely oblivious.

He finishes his cake and leaves, “Thanks Ma’am I really appreciate how good you have been to me over the summer I really appreciate it. I will miss our conversations.”

As he goes to leave she places a hand on his shoulder and says, “It does not have to end just because your job is over. You are welcome over at any time. I would be so sad not to see you anymore.” She runs her hands over his bicep and there is a small shiver between them.

As he gets to the door John turns around
