Tessa (CMW's Story)

The day was hot, I thought as I looked out the window. Professor Samuel's lecture was kind of boring, but his class was the only one I could take for my math needs. As class ended, I went to get up, but I noticed I couldn't. My mind began to panic, I couldn't move my hips or legs. I tried to feel my legs to see if something was wrong.

"Tessa?" Professor Samuel asked. "Is something the manner?"

"I seem to be stuck," I said hoping he would help me.

He walked up to my chair and placed a book on my desk. I looked at it.

What the fuck! This can't be real.

He took the book and smiled. "I assure you it is. Let's start your extra credit assignment. Unless ya have something better to do?"

He walked up to the board. I reached for my bag to grab my phone.

"Tessa, are you sure you want do that? We are about to play a game. If you interrupt you won't know the rules."

Like I was going to listen to this psychopath! I texted campus security my location. It was a structure in the school, to help us when we needed help. Samuel looked down and sighed and picked up a different book. "Tessa, you have permission to leave."

I noticed I could lift my butt. Once he gave me permission, I could leave. The magic was real. This was surreal. What should I do?

The campus security officer came inside. "Tessa, I got a ping from your number. Is something wrong?"

Samuel looked up but remained silent.

My throat was dry and I wasn't sure what to do. I didn't have any proof. I acted so quickly. I opened my mouth.

The professor spoke up. "Oh Tessa, you should be more careful."

I just walked away without a word. What was I supposed to do. I had no proof or evidence. Maybe I should just drop out of school and move away? There can't be professors with magic notebooks everywhere.

I made may way to the common area of my dorm. As I came in, Sarah greeted me. "Hey Tessa, welcome back," she said.

I felt my body tug in her direction. I came in real close and kissed her square on the lips. She just stood there letting me do it. Why wasn't she stopping me! Why was this happening. Well I had a reasonable guess to that one.

Boys around began cheering and chanting. "Yes yes! Kiss! Awesome."

"Wow," Sarah said as finally pulled away. "I didn't realize you swung that way."

I didn't but I didn't have a way to way to explain myself. So I just fled to my room. What did he do? How did he get a magic book. This was freaky.

The next morning I was making my way to Professor Samuel's classroom. I didn't have a class with him today. Just wanted answers. I came in just as everyone else was leaving.

"Oh how unexpected," he said looking up from his book. "What can I do for you?"

"I kissed Sarah!"

"How progressive of you! But I am afraid I don't quite understand. Why share this with me?"

"You did something to me! What!"

He got up and walked over to me. "I was under the impressions you didn't want the rules to our game?"

"I want you to leave me alone!" I shouted.

"Okay! Though if that is your goal. Why did you come here?" he asked rubbing his chin.

"Take away the stupid kissing thing?" I shouted with fists clenched.

"Per rules of the game. Submit the request in the proper form please," he said smiling.

My fists loosened. "Okay fine. What are the rules." I may have been too hasty the day before. I needed to get information if I was to get out of this.

"No please? Come on Tessa certainly you can do better than that?"
