Tell her that you've never heard of them

You shake your head. You feel bad lying, but really it seems like the best choice you can make under the circumstances. After all, maybe this isn't even going where you think it's going.

Lexi's grin widens. "Oh, then you'll love this. C'mon, I'll give you our mission briefing on the trip."

Lexi gets down into a crawling pose and heads out through the vents again, and after a brief pause of contemplation, you follow along close behind her. It's still really hard for you to get your bearings, and each time you pause at a grate to gaze out of it you're surprised by what you see, but Lexi moves quickly and seems to know exactly where she's headed. She must have a really good memory.

On the crawling journey, Lexi explains to you what she knows about the Argent Sorority. You just keep quiet, since you've already made your choice, and listen to what she tells you.

According to Lexi, every single person in the university is either a member of the Sorority, an active enemy of the Sorority, or doesn't know that the Sorority exists. She says that they've been a part of Coinpilfer for a long time, years and years, and that people aren't even sure if the core members change over time.

"I think they must do, since they're all supposed to look like regular students, but there are some people who reckon they could be immortal beings. Or even monsters in disguise! I'm really not sure at all, but I'm keen to find out."

It all sounds very conspiracy-like.

Lexi goes on to excitedly explain all sorts of apparent things about the Sorority, like why people are having such a strong reaction to them and a bunch of other rumoured secrets and pieces of information. A lot of what she says you already know isn't true, and while the rest could be true, it's in the sort of sense where it could be true that your eyes are actually purple and someone keeps putting coloured contact lenses in when you're sleeping. You don't know for sure that it's not the case, but.... you actually forgot what point you were going to make, because your eye started to itch as you had that thought, and now you're really worried that you've got purple eyes in secret. Must investigate later!

"So, where are we headed?" You ask, having just missed the last part of what the crawling woman in front of you said.

"Over the weekend, I had a bunch of time between songs while I was stuck in bed." Lexi begins. "I was looking at the university's blueprints, which I got from- uhm, and I was comparing them against the maps of the school, and there's a room missing from the maps. There were actually a couple, to tell you the truth. But one in particular is apparently linked to the Sorority. If the rumours are true, I bet it's being used for something secret. And evil!"

Rrrr.... you're really hoping those rumours aren't true. Ah, Lexi just stopped in front of you!

Lexi tells you to wait a second, then crawls a short distance further and turns around in the vent. You look at each other, both on all fours in the roomy (but not roomy enough to sit up in properly) air vent, and Lexi grins. She reaches forward and pats the grate that sits in the vent floor between the two of you.

"This should be it." She says. "Am I going in first, or are you?"
