Teleport to Avana.

The city of Avana went from a strange new world, to your home, to your enemy, and then to a battlefield. Now with King Thadius gone and Queen Catherine II back on the throne, and after the war against Elok Daven, much has changed. People are dubbing you Hero King, and it goes without saying that there's no longer a bounty on your head. That paired with the reputation Nyllia already had, you don't think there will ever be trouble again for you in the Empire of Tivera, besides perhaps being too recognized. Believe it or not, but you are technically a ruler in the same way as their queen. Not only that, but you seemingly came from nowhere, yet you already have such an intriguing history that will certainly draw in the interest of others.

Xiaoqing, or Xue, is dressed exactly as she always is. However, you can tell she washes the attire daily. It's always clean, though right now you can tell there's something more. As she stands nearer, you get the whiff of a pleasant scent--some sort of flowers, mixed with citrus. Chestnut eyes gaze into yours as she comes in closer, waiting for the Bunny Hop to sweep her away.

Meanwhile, Nyllia is wearing something else entirely.

It's quite outstanding. She wears a layered dress with edges flared almost like an angel's wings, though the entire outfit is slim to fit across her slender elven physique. The back of the dress nearly reaches the ground, though the front is cut high to her thighs. From that angle alone, you can see her tall silver heels binding her feet like delicate, leaf-covered vines. Only one of her arms is sleeved. It's a striking style. While one is bare with the only fabric wrapping just under her shoulder, the other is covered to the wrist, with a shoulder flared yet again like feathers. The wardrobe is a mix of white, gold, and pale pink.

On top of that, her ears are adorned by jewelled studs. On one side, emerald. The other, ruby. Her supple neck is decorated by a thin silver chain. Her nails are painted, mostly silver but with golden swirls. The cosmetics on her face are subtle. Hardly any is needed, though none of this is done by obligation. She wears it all well because she desires to do so. The aura of her presence is palpable. If one were to have forgotten she's a heroic paladin known by many, even the queen herself, a moment like this would be a sharp reminder.

Somehow, Luna has garbed this woman in a dress that made you think for a just a moment that she may still be clad in armour.

She's leaving her sword behind. You, however, are not. It doesn't come from a lack of trust. It's more simple than that. For one, you use a shortsword, which is substantially easier to bring somewhere than a greatsword. Also, it's part of your appearance, and the scabbard goes very well with your suit and cape.

Xiaoqing also doesn't arm herself, or rather, you don't think she does. Either way, she uses magical powers bestowed upon her to fight, more like a warlock from Dungeons & Dragons.

"... You're radiant," you say as you stare Nyllia over.

"As are you," she replies.

Meanwhile, Xiaoqing can't help but look down over herself. For a small fleeting moment, you sense a hint of self-consciousness.

You offer an arm towards her, and after she nods, you grab her side and pull her in close. You hear a quiet, cute sound of surprise. Then in front of you, Nyllia offers a hand. You take hold, and after a gentle tug, she comes in to wrap an arm around you. Not much is needed to bring, but all is prepared. You'll have a day to see the sights, meet with the people, and once again see the queen. Come tomorrow evening, Queen Catherine II will see her people, and you'll be there beside her.

One, two, three... Bunny Hop!

To avoid an immediate disturbance, you aim your teleport to a sight forever burned into your memory--the exact direction you first entered Avana, when you woke up in the outskirts. It was right before you stepped into the city, and truly entered a brand new world. One where everyone made fun of you for bring dressed weird, and you had **** but to team up with other outcasts to get any sort of adventuring work.

That feels like ages ago though.

You land in the grass, and with perfect precision. You're the most fine, Nyllia is doing relatively well, though Xiaoqing needs a moment to steady herself. She isn't quite used to the method of teleporting yet. Walking through a portal is easy, but being pulled through space by an ancient rabbit's leap is a whole other thing.

"There it is," you say. "Avana. Let's head up towards the main street there, and see what happens. I have a feeling we might get a lot of eyes on us."

"... Hopefully just you two," Xiaoqing mumbles.

Nyllia moves easily on her heels, even through the grass and dirt. Thankfully it's hardly a dozen steps before you're on stone anyway. Between a few buildings, you enter the heart of the city, and much of the repairs must already be completed, as it looks exactly how you remember it.
