Tease her

A playful grin tugs at the corners of John's lips as he teases, "You see something you like?"

Her cheeks flush a deep shade of pink and she quickly averts her gaze from John's piercing blue eyes. She stammers, "Oh, no no, of course not."

John's tongue darts out to wet his lips as he takes a step towards her. She can feel her heart racing in her chest, but before she can react, John reaches past her to grab the keys off the key ring hanging just inside the house. He smirks and says, "Well, I've got work to do so I can enjoy my birthday later."

As he steps back, purposely brushing against her in a way that makes her shiver, he adds with a twinkle in his eye, "Always a pleasure to see you, ma'am." With that, he turns and heads towards the truck and trailer parked in the driveway. The sound of his boots crunching on gravel echoes through the quiet neighborhood.
