Which orphan are you? Are you the gene carrier (unknowingly or knowingly)?
Tao, Ignorant Carrier
Curtly, you question "On the slim chance he wasn't senile, how the hell does he expect us to figure out who, let along kill it?"
Rolling his eyes, Conri jokingly added, "Maybe we just eat with silver flatware every meal and wait to see who burns their hand."
"Silver affecting werewolves is just myth," corrected Marsha. As everyone's focus shifted to her, she added "Most journalistic accounts, even if questionable, had any effective kill weapon coated in wolfsbane oil."
Before the conversation got too off track, Miss Howler professionally reinforced the terms of the estate. "Whether you all believe it or not, those are the terms of the estate. Maps of the island and its structures have all been placed in your rooms. You have free reign everywhere except my quarters, the master bedroom. This island is technically just inside international waters, so you can divulge in various hobbies or pleasures as you pass the time this month. I'm not your maid or cook, but I'll see anyone interested in discussing dinner in a few hours in the chicken. Until then, I'd suggest you all get settled in for the month." As Selene walked out of the theater, you admired the subtle sway to her hips.
Your eyes wander to the other ladies who apparently share a similar orphaned history to your own. May not be so bad being stuck here for a full month. Your thoughts were cut off as quickly as they began by Robert proclaiming to no one in particular, "screw dinner, I'm heading to the kitchen now. Starving after that boat ride." Refocusing, you take a moment to observe your fellow residents.
You see Bill, Annie, and Arnold chatting as they exit near the back of the theater after Selene. Junko and Maya seem to be pulling Conri back through the side door you entered, probably back towards the bar you passed on the way in. You spot Mizuki, Marsha, and Esmerelda with discomforted faces as all three seem somehow cornered by Vladimir. Strolling over to the seats need the quartet, you barely catch the end of Vladimir's comment, "...would be a challenging game, I have less clothes to bet with after all."
Probably trying to get them in a game of strip poker. Fun in right crowd, especially naturalists. He sounds creepy suggesting it though. "Hey, any of you want to join me heading down to the beach?" You then add in part jest, "Won't be warm too much longer as quick as the season's change might be winter before we leave." All three girls quickly ignore Vladimir.
"I do like reading on the beach," replied Marsha.
"I did pack a flattering two-piece," added Esmeralda.
Mizuki's hair seemed to sway around her face as her smile beamed, "I love the beach, though I must confess I didn't pack any swimwear. Would any of you be uncomfortable if I joined in the nude?"
A slight blush of excitement crept into your cheeks as you shake your head 'no'. Marsha and Esmeralda, eagerly seeing to get away from Vladimir, each grabbed one of Mizuki's wrists and in unison shouted, "let's go!"
