Taking your baby home

You spend a week in the hospital. As per your contract with Biofoze you and your baby are tested in all manners of ways. At first you are fine with it, after all they are paying you very well for this. But as the days goes by and your arms start turning blue from the blood sampels and you start recognizing the people in the radiology department you begin to feel impatient. You want to go home and sleep in your own bed, eat some home made food and feel like a person rather than a science curiosity. Then when little John turns ten days old you decide with all the moral certainty of a new mother advocating for herself and her child that you will demand to be discharged.

Before you are able to voice your demands however a pair of doctors come in and discharges you. They are happy with the results of the tests and confirm summarize once more what you have heard so many times since the tests started. You are a perfectly normal and healthy young new mother who has given birth to a perfectly normal and healthy baby boy a few days ago. Hearing between the lines you believe that they can find little to no trace that you where ever a man. That thought might have given you a tiny amount of anxiety before. But now you are just happy being what you are.

The car ride home is much calmer than the one to the hospital. John sleeps in his seat in the front while you slumber in the back. Alex later tells you he was smiling the entire way. Feeling like a proud dad driving his new family home.
