Taking a bus ride to the mall

Exiting the cafe, Ramona leaned against the wall and wrote another rule.

“Old Rule: The owner of this notebook has a transit pass that will give her free unlimited rides.”

Instantly, Ramona felt a shift in her memories. A new recollection—or rather, an old one that had always been there but somehow hadn’t until now—surfaced in her mind. She remembered winning a free transit pass in a citywide lottery last month.

Opening her wallet with trembling fingers, she gasped at the sight of a golden pass nestled inside. A mix of excitement and unease washed over her. This power was incredible, but was it right to change reality so easily?

Pushing the thought aside, Ramona grinned. She'd never worry about paying for the bus again.

As if on cue, a bus slowed to a stop at a nearby bus stop. Tucking her pen in her pocket, Ramona ran toward the bus. She flashed her golden pass at the driver, half-expecting him to be surprised or confused. Instead, the driver gave a short nod of acknowledgment and motioned her to sit, as if golden passes were an everyday occurrence.

As Ramona settled into her seat, she couldn't help but marvel at the notebook's power. This reality-altering book was awesome!

Seeing that the bus driver was in need of a makeover, Ramona pulled her pen out and wrote down two new rules.

“New Rule: If passengers want to thank the bus driver, they can kiss them.”

“Old Rule: All transit bus drivers are either hot girls or cute femboys.”

The effect of the old rule came immediately as Ramona watched the oblivious bus driver transform into a femboy. His features softened, his jawline becoming more delicate, and his hair lengthening into a stylish bob. The driver's uniform seemed to shrink, hugging his body in all the right places and giving him a cute boyish look.

And all the while no one batted an eye as the bus ride continued.

As the bus stopped, several passengers got off and on the bus. One man in particular thanked the femboy driver by awkwardly kissing him on the cheek.

This will not do, Ramona thought.

“New Rule: Whenever a passenger wants to thank the bus driver, they must give them a deep, passionate kiss.”

“Old Rule: Bus drivers regularly keep their mouth fresh by chewing on gum after they kiss.”

Looking out the window, Ramona recognized they were heading further into the downtown area, particularly the mall. This will give her more chances to play around with the notebook.

As the bus stopped again, a businesswoman stepped inside and paid for the ride. A ‘thank you’ slipped from her lips, making her roll her eyes. It must have been accidental, though Ramona did not care.

Without hesitation, the woman leaned closer. Her hands reached out, cupping the driver’s face, pulling him into a deep, passionate kiss. Their lips melded together, tongues moving past each other. Moans of pleasure filled the bus as the other passengers watched, some with bored expressions while others with interest.

After what felt like a lifetime, the businesswoman pulled back and walked further into the bus as the bus moved closer to the mall.

If it was possible, Ramona would have melted on the spot. But right now, she needed to focus as the bus rolled into the mall parking lot. A part of her was tempted to kiss the cute femboy, but she was too nervous about kissing strangers. Maybe she could get the notebook to fix that.

As the bus stopped, people got up to exit the bus. It took a while as several people were making out with the femboy driver to thank him for the trip but Ramona didn’t mind. Waving at the flustered driver, Ramona got off and headed for the mall. There were so many options and she didn’t know where to go first.
