Take the rest of the day off

That was unbelievable - literally, you have difficulty believing you didn't simply imagine it - and you have no idea how you can just up and go to work after all that. So you text your boss Rachel at Cash Inc. and let them know you're not going to be in today. She calls moments later.

"Really, Jimbo? You know how busy we are today." For such a sexy woman her voice is annoyingly shrill when she's angry.
"Yeah, I can't come in. Personal matters, have to be dealt with immediately. Family issues, you understand?"
Her voice changes and softens. "Yeah, you're right, I understand. Family issues, personal matters, you do have to deal with those immediately. You can't come in if that's the case! So will we see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah, I'll be right in tomorrow! And thank you for being so understanding. You're a great boss, you know that?"
"I am a great boss! And thank you for saying so."
