TTT Tuesday: Leah Visits Jason

Leah knew that the band had a pretty good number of students. There was the marching band, the symphonic band, some kind of weird jazz band or something else that Leah couldn't recall. Maybe there was an honors band too? She did know but she did know that if she could convince the band director to put in a good word it certainly couldn't hurt.

Leah waited for her planning period and headed to the band room. Jason had just finished dismissing his students as the lunch bell rang. She would have at least some time to be able to convince him.

"Oh hey Leah." he said when he noticed her approach.

"Hey Jason!" she said with a smile.

"How's it going?" he asked.

"Going good, can I talk to your for a min?" she walked in the band room properly and made sure the door closed behind her.

"Sure...what's up?" he asked a look of creeping concern.

"Its about Top Turkey Teacher." she said allaying any of his fears.

"Oh" he said with a sigh of relief, he hadn't been sure what she was going to want to talk about. "What about it?"

"Well I want to win Top Turkey Teacher." she said with a grin.

"I will certainly vote for you." he said returning her smile.

"Awww that is very sweet of you." she said moving closer to him. "I was hoping you might be able to convince some of your students to support me too..."

"I see." he said eyeing her "I don't think we are supposed to really sway their minds now are we?"

Leah wasn't sure if he said this mockingly or was truly serious.
