TTT: There Seemed To Be A Tie...

Mr. Sharpe opened up another draw and looked around. He gathered another ziplock bag full of ballots. He tossed them on his desk and counted them out in front of Leah.

"Hmmmm," he began to fidget in his desk chair "it...ummmmm looks like there is a tie. I'm sorry Miss Williams. Strange that has never happened."

"Are you sure? Maybe you should count again." Leah said crossing her arms and looking at the mess on Mr. Sharpe's desk. He hastily looked back through the stacks.

"I'm sorry. I am afraid Mrs. Clemens and you both seem to have the exact number of votes...I'm sorry I uh I shouldn't have probably told you till the announcements anyway I apologize." He looked sheepish. He regretted saying he would let her know at all. He would change the policy next year.

"What does a tie mean though? I thought there could only be one Top Turkey Teacher?" Leah asked concerned.

"Well...according to the policy you would both technically be the Top Turkey Teacher...but no one would actually get to claim it. It would be a nominal win but basically just a draw. I can't believe this..."
