TTT: Leah visits Coach Reed

Leah knew that Coach Reed had quite a bit of pull among the student athletes. And PPHS had quite a lot of student athletes give its size. If she could convince Coach Reed to put in a good word concerning Top Turkey Teacher it could go a long way.

Leah waited for her planning period and headed to the gym. Coach Reed had just finished dismissing his students as the lunch bell rang. She would have at least some time to be able to convince him.

"Oh hey Leah." he said when he noticed her approach.

"Hey Coach!" she said with a smile.

"How's it going?" he asked.

"Going good, can I talk to your for a min?" she walked in the coach's office properly and made sure the door closed behind her. There were a few smaller offices in the schools massive gym.

"Sure...what's up?" he asked a look of creeping concern.

"Its about Top Turkey Teacher." she said allaying any of his fears.

"Oh" he said with a sigh of relief, he hadn't been sure what she was going to want to talk about. "What about it?"

"Well I want to win Top Turkey Teacher." she said with a grin.

"I will certainly vote for you." he said returning her smile.

"Awww that is very sweet of you." she said moving closer to him. "I was hoping you might be able to convince some of your students to support me too.."

"I see." he said eyeing her "I don't think we are supposed to really sway their minds now are we? That wouldn't make for a fair compation and all that right?"

Leah wasn't sure if he said this mockingly or was truly serious.

"Come on. Its not THAT big of a deal." Leah said smugly. "Heck maybe I could even come by your gym class and you could let me talk to them?"

"Hmmmmm maybe." he thought for a moment "Or you could come by this afternoon before practice. And give the boys a bit of...a...ummm pep talk."
