TTT: Convince Daniel to Change his mind (Luck: -30)

"I don't care if she asked first. You know I am the one who deserves to be Top Turkey Teacher!" She said with venom in her voice. She looked about frustrated. Leah sighed as she tried to calm herself.

"Look I'm sorry. I..." Daniel shrugged awkwardly.

"Daniel," she said putting her hand on his arm gently after regaining her composure "I need this. I need this for tenure. Mrs. Clemens just started working here recently--she can't get tenure till next year. I can get it this year. Just tell her you will support her next year."

Daniel's inner conscience was in a turmoil but Leah was right. No matter how many awards Mrs. Clemens got she wasn't eligible for tenure until next year.

"Alright fine." he relented. "But she gets all the support next year. And you BETTER not tell her I didn't support her either."

"You're the best." she said giving him a quick hug. "I appreciate it Daniel I really do."

Maybe it was her logic, her charm, or their old relationship. In either case--Daniel would throw in his towel with Leah.
