Swimming

"How about a quick swim, then we can play volleyball?" Alex said. "Best of both worlds. Cool off before we get too hot." In more ways than one.

"Okay," Claire said. "A short swim."

Alex nodded, trying not to look too happy. A short swim was all she'd need.

They walked down to the water's edge, then ran into the water. Once they were in, they started swimming back and forth.

Alex kept glancing at Claire, wondering how long it was going to be before it happened.

As it happened, it did not take long before Alex saw two triangles of black cloth floating away on the surf.

Perfect, she thought. She waited for the fun to begin.
