Susan And S'mores

I don’t remember passing out, nor when anyone passed out. All I knew for sure when I came too, I was chilled enough that I grabbed the nearest blanket near me , wrapped it around my shoulders and went out to the woods to relieve myself. I was on the way back to the tent when some of the other guys came out, blankets wrapped around themselves. Going to the woods.

The five of us began to make what passed for breakfast, boiled coffee scrambled eggs and
slightly charred toast. The ‘lovebirds’ came out to join us and we all ate what we could stand putting in our mouths, which wasn’t a hell of a lot. We ate on paper plates which we disposed of by dropping into the fire so clean up was a breeze.

As the day progressed, I was brought up to speed about the general area, an old conservation area that was once owned by the local Boy Scout Chapter. Now a public site where anyone and their uncle could go camping. Nathaniel and Dwight just to bring their troop here when they were Boy Scout leaders, then their wives when they wanted to go back to nature.

From there it became a logical place to bring the females they were dating. So here we were about to enjoy the female we brought with us when the sounds of cracking branches came to us.
