You might as well get hypnotized in class. Despite being at the back of the classroom, you have a clear sight of the ruby pendant that Ms. Lockwood is swinging.

"Just keep your eyes on my pretty ruby as it swings back and forth. Back and forth before you. Notice how it catches the light and becomes even prettier as you keep looking. Your eyes find it so easy to keep staring, so relaxing to keep watching, so wonderful as it keeps swinging. Its so beautiful that you don't want to look away. So from this moment on, you will not look away." *snap* You hear a snap of her fingers and you focus on the pretty ruby. Its so easy to look at and you don't want to look away.

"Very good. Keep staring at my ruby. With each and every swing you will fall deeper and deeper into a blissful state of sleep. You will go deeper and deeper as you only need to stare at my ruby and hear my voice as I guide you even deeper into sleep." Her voice is so soothing and so irresistible. You want nothing else other than to stay like this.

"Feel my ruby now control your eyelids. They are feeling so heavy as you stare at my ruby. With each swing they get heavier and heavier. Heavier and heavier, but you don't want to close them just yet. You want to keep looking at my ruby. You want to keep listening to my voice, but you want to feel the bliss of sleep. Don't worry, you've been such a good subject, I'll give it to you." Your eyelids feel so heavy, its hard to see the pretty ruby, but you can still see it shine with every swing. Sleep sounds wonderful right now, you hope it'll come soon.

"Now on the count of three, I will snap my fingers, and upon the snap, you will sit straight in your seat and you will drop into sleep. Drop into a wonderful trance where I'm in control, where I will guide you as your mistress for the rest of class. Ready?" Ms. Lockwood asks. You murmur a 'yes' and hear a bunch of others do the same.

"Very good. One, two, and three. *snap* SLEEP!" She snaps her fingers and you drop into trance again. You are sitting in your seat and soaking in the wonderful trance that mistress as brought you to.

"If you are under my control, you will open your eyes and stare right at me." *snap* Another snap and you open your eyes and look to mistress Lockwood.

"Now for the rest of you, take a look at some of your classmates. You'll find that it is in fact, easy to fall into a trance regardless of how smart or powerful you are. Now Ms. Green, head back to your seat." Mistress turns and commands Stacy.

"Yes mistress." She says as she gets up and walks back to her seat.

"Now that we got that out of the way, we will continue class. If you are my ****, you will pay extra attention and take detailed notes." *snap* Mistress snaps as she commands.

For the rest of class, mistress Lockwood goes into detail about hypnosis and a few easy inductions to start out. She goes over various forms of focuses to use and what focus to use in certain situations. During all of this, you take detailed notes as you listen to every word mistress says. Its so easy to just hear her words. Eventually, mistress turns back to the class.

"Very good students! Before we end class today, its time to free our sleepy heads from their trance." *snap* Mistress snaps her fingers and you pay attention, focused on her words.

"Now its time to awaken from your trance and be free from my control. When I count to one, you will awaken from your trance, bound to my will no longer. Ready? Three, two, and one. *snap* Wake up!" One more snap and you wake up. Wow, that felt incredible. And you have some great notes to work with later.

"Alright class, that wraps up our time for today. For your homework for the week, you must record yourself hypnotizing your subject with a form of focus we mentioned today. If no students are willing to be your subject, there is a portal that will lead you to some of your fellow students' home dimension. There, you will be able to hypnotize one of the town residents there and complete your homework. If you need something to record your homework, you may head to the library and ask the librarian for one and she'll help you. With that, class is dismissed."

And like that, class is over. You look over to Olivia and see that she's talking to Veronica and Abby. Some of the other students are either leaving the classroom or going up to Ms. Lockwood to ask a question. You wonder what to do now.
