Sunlight and Freckles

Nadia woke up on the bed. Alice was sleeping on the bed next to her. The sunlight from the curtains streaming onto her freckled face. A pretty face. Her messy black bangs and hair to her shoulders. She wore a bun before.

“Please can I have a butterfly knife for Christmas…” Alice mumbled in her sleep.

Nadia laughed. What’s a butterfly knife?

The laugh woke Alice up. Alice opened her eyes. She noticed Nadia looking down at her like a busty angel.

“Wow…” she said under her breath.

“Wow?” Nadia echoed.

“You look like you work here wearing the uniform,” Alice said, yawning.

“I wish… I need a new job…” Nadia said. She couldn’t imagine working at the gym anymore with Mark.

“That’s perfect! I need a temporary staff member! Come work here!” Alice said, now fully awake, “You’ll have a free stay and the money is not bad too!”

“Me?” Nadia said. Could she really work here at The Pony?!
