"Headmaster why these books?" Gemma hesitantly asked.

"Gemma, my girl, this is for your homework tonight, you need to get acquainted with British fashion and cooking like any other witch your age. " Dumbledore carefully explained.

That did make sense now that Gemma thought about it. After all she did have to leave all her other fashion magazines and book at home in France.

Wait what? Did she own fashion magazines? Did she live in France??

Gemma was trying to think back when a memory quickly arose.

Laying on her yellow four poster bed in a small villa in Nice. Flipping through copies of makeup and fashion magazines. Looking over at her nightstand to see the magical perfume her grandmother had gotten her last year for her birthday.

"Is everything all right dear?" the old wizard asked seeing the confused look on Gemma's face.

"Y-yes everything's alright, headmaster" Gemma quickly said snapping out of her thoughts, "Thank you for the books I'll be sure to look through them."

"Very good dear, very good." Dumbledore replied jovially.

"Now then I'm afraid we're going to have test our efforts early," Dumbledore said in a more serious tone.
