A Trip to Diagon Alley

"We're going to have to test early?" Gemma repeated back to the old wizard sitting opposite her.

"Yes," Dumbledore started, "You see I've gotten some information from one of my spies that a group of students will be in Diagon Alley tomorrow doing some last minute school shopping, and I want you to interact with them."

"It will also be a good opportunity for you to do some shopping as well. First you'll head to Ollivanders in the morning and get a new wand, then you'll head back to the Leaky Cauldron and wait for their arrival," Dumbledore continued.

"Who will I be waiting for?" Gemma asked she started to memorize the plan.

"A group of students who're all the sons and daughters of **** Eaters," Dumbledore slowly explained.

"The group consists of Draco Malfoy, Theodore Nott, Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson, and Millicent Bulstrode."

Great. Just Great Gemma thought. Not even one day of training and already she is being thrown into the snake's pit.

"Gemma remember your mission, you're to befriend them, gain their trust, and then figure out what Tom's plan was so we can save the school and defeat him," Dumbledore chided the young witch reminding her the importance of this.

"Whatever petty squabbles you had them, it's over and done with," Dumbledore continued.

Gemma thought that was easier said than done, but she didn't voice that opinion she just reluctantly agreed with the headmaster.

"Yes, sir."

"Good, now before I forget, here is your official letter with a list of supplies you'll need, feel free to buy whatever else you think you may need," Dumbledore said.

"Thank sir," Gemma said taking the letter.

She quickly scanned it and saw it was similar to her other school letters only with her new name on it. Then a thought occurred to her, how was she going to pay for this all?

"Professor," Gemma started slowly, "how am I going to pay for this all?"

"Ah that's right!" Dumbledore said jumping up out of his seat, "I'm glad you reminded me."

Dumbledore handed her a small key with the large B engraved on sides.

"Here is the key to your new vault, number 711, the Black Family vault," Dumbledore said slowly, "I think you'll find it has more than enough for everything you need."

"Thanks Headmaster," Gemma said taking the small key from the old wizard.

"Well I don't want to take up any more of your time, my dear," Dumbledore said standing up, "You have a lot to study up on and I don't want to keep you from it."

"Ah right," Gemma said slowly looking at the stack of books next to her.

"I have a bit of business to take care of myself so I won't see you until school starts I'm afraid." Dumbledore said slowly.

"B-but what if something goes wrong?" Gemma asked as she stood up from the couch.

"I have the utmost faith in you my dear, even though your now a snake you still have the heart of a lion," Dumbledore said grandfatherly, "Your strong enough to get through this Gemma."

And just like that he was gone. Leaving Gemma to get to work on her mission for tomorrow.
