Study then dinner.

With Harmony gone, you focus on your illusionist's tome again. The words make sense but you simply can not figure out what you are doing wrong. What was it Harmony said: "Illusions are more art than anything. You can't **** it." What is that supposed to mean? You have to bend the light to create the illusion. Your frustration builds and you decide to just give it a try.

You focus on the stone floor of your room, concentrating on the light. Imagining a fire, like before, you proceed to bend the light to form the image in your mind. Thinking back to your reading, you trace the arcane rune in the air with your fingers before speaking the spell words. "Illusio mentis." What appears to be a blurry campfire springs to life at your feet. It's movements seem appropriate but the image itself is blurry. "This isn't going to fool anyone." You tell Pharos and the image begins to fade. "Damn it." You attempt to craft the illusion a few more times but only obtain the same result. "Damn damn damn." You cry out as you pace the room. "What am I missing?"

Before you know it, it is time for dinner. Maybe, if you stepped away for a minute and ate, you would have better luck later. You give Pharos a quick pat on the head then exit your room to head over to the dining hall. Maybe Lee will be there and he is having a better go of it than you are. The thought of skipping out on Ophelia to study with Harmony crosses your mind too. Ophelia would understand, right? This is classwork. With another girl though... But it's not like you are actually dating either of them. Ophelia has a boyfriend back home in fact. And she was recently encouraging you to go after Harmony. Still, to skip out on her to do it though... Would you even want to pass up an opportunity to "assist" Ophelia though?

Frustrated at your current dilemma as you enter the dining hall, you look around for Lee but he is nowhere to be seen. So much for that idea. You get in line and place your order. Tonight's meal is a lamb stew with vegetables and dumplings. After fetching your drink, you find an empty table and look around once more for anyone you know. Neither Lee, Harmony, or Ophelia are to be found.

You try to relax and enjoy your dinner but decide it is probably best if you don't waste too much time. Maybe if you hurry with Ophelia you would still have time to meet up with Harmony.
