Then the white panel in the middle vanishes, overtaken by the black cloth, and it gets... way more gaudy as gold filigree weaves itself about the borders of what used to be the central panel, as well as the... 'neckline.' Then every edge I can see becomes ruffled.

Lilian certainly looks like she's dressing to display herself more, but her expression remains just as obnoxious as ever.
