Story Chapter: Storm enters the Story

With still wobbly legs I straightened up and looked around. At least Susan had put me down in a dark corner so that no one had seen me lying there. I staggered out of the parking deck of the Baxter Building and hailed a cab. Every bone and muscle ached. What was wrong with this woman? How could she be such a fury? And why did she have such power over me? Wasn't I the one who was supposed to have power over others? Wasn't it me who wanted her so badly and **** her to do it? But in doing so, I had created a kind of sexual monster. And yet... I couldn't get enough of her. I wanted to have more of this feeling of submission.

It was a very different kind of lust than Emma's or Jean's.

But while I was driving through the city, I saw something that interrupted my thoughts and made me tremble with fear.

While the cab driver drove in the direction of the school, we listened to the radio. There was a warning of a super villain attack that was going on in our corner of town. And maybe it was fate, or just coincidence, in any case we were driving past this crime. But what I saw there made me tremble more than if Dr. Doom himself had been here on the street with Thanos.

I saw HIM!

My father.

Purple Man

He was standing in the middle of the street and around him normal people and policemen were fighting against other policemen. It was crazy to see citizens and policemen fighting each other just because that fucking son of a bitch of a father told them to. The cab driver seemed to have been working in New York for a while, because he immediately stepped on the gas, but couldn't really leave the spot because of all the onlookers. Therefore, I was finally able to get a glimpse of my father. He was a monster. Outwardly as well as inwardly, of that I was never so sure as just at this moment. He seemed to enjoy it as his "puppets" danced according to his will. He didn't seem to care that dozens of people were hurt.

Fortunately, this scene had attracted enough attention that slowly the heroes of New York became active. Out of nowhere, Spider-Man swung in and in the first pass he had some of the policemen, who were under Purple Man's control, pinned to the ground. With an elegant spin he landed on the roof of a car and seemed to be having one of his legendary conversations with the villain. Unfortunately, I couldn't hear what the friendly neighborhood spider was saying. However, it was probably enough that Purple Man set the pack on him.

When Power Man and Iron Fist appeared on the battlefield, Purple Man's luck seemed to have run out. Surrounded by three heroes, he had hardly any civilians left to fight for him. Most of them had been overwhelmed by the three heroes within minutes without a single scratch on their heads. Strangely, the cab driver still seemed to be in a hurry to get away.

"What's the rush? It'll be done in a few seconds and that son of a bitch will get what he deserves!" I growled angrily, but the older driver looked at me and shook his head.

"Youngster. Did you notice that only Spider-Man wears a mask? This is just getting started!" he said worriedly and tried to make his way through the cars, honking and cursing.

Worried, I looked out the window again and saw Power Man and Iron Fist suddenly start fighting Spider Man. The destruction the two heroes caused dwarfed anything the cops had done before.

"I can stop this!" I stammered, trying to get out of the car. I wasn't sure if it was hatred for my father or the desire to help these people, but the central locking put a stop to it.

But just as Spider Man was in serious danger, the sky darkened and hundreds of bolts of lightning began to converge directly over the battlefield. But instead of seeing a giant warrior with blond hair, a dark-skinned woman with white hair hovered overhead. For a moment I had actually forgotten that Thor was dead.

"Oh, awesome shit!" laughed the cab driver who had also seen it.

"That's Storm!" I marveled as the woman simply pointed her hand down and the lightning obeyed her signal. They seemed to seek their targets and hit Power Man and Iron Fist completely off guard. The two heroes immediately went down and the fight was over in seconds. Unfortunately, there was no trace of my father. That miserable son of a bitch must have used the time to sneak away. When the show was over, the traffic calmed down and the driver could take me to the estate without any problems.

When I got there, Jean was already waiting in front of the estate with her arms folded and her brows drawn together.

"Oh boy. I don't want to be in your shoes!" the cab driver laughed amusedly and as soon as I paid him, I got out and felt how pissed Jean was.

"Uh... Hi... Jean..." I said shyly and a little intimidated by her. She was pissed, SERIOUSLY pissed.

But once again, Storm came to the rescue. For the second time in one day.

"Jean! Let him be. I hear he's a huge fan of Reed. And you know him. Once Reed starts talking, nothing can stop him." Laughed the woman I could now look at properly for the first time. She wore her white hair as a mohawk and was dressed in a purple robe that strongly reminded me of the clothes of Wakanda I had always seen on TV.

"Don't stab me in the back Oro." Jean grumbled grumpily and then fell into the arms of the woman. Immediately the mood improved significantly. "Good to see you again Oro. How are things in Wakanda? All good?"

"Fine." She grinned and then eyed me curiously. "So, THIS is your new student. Scotts already told me about you. You're the boy who can't be denied right?" she smiled and before I could answer she held out her hand. "Hello Dean. I'm Oro Munroe."

"Queen Munroe." Grinned Jean and gave her a light punch in the side.

"Not until after the wedding!" grinned Oro, looking at her hand which I then shook.

"Queen?" I asked, confused, and Jean grinned widely.

"Oro is going to marry King T'Challa. That will make her Queen of Wakanda."

"Wakanda!" I marveled, staring wide-eyed at the woman.

"Why do all new students start drooling like that when they hear Wakanda?" laughed Oro a delightfully open and honest laugh. She was a real sex bomb just like the other women but her personality came across as warm, open and kind. "But yes, Dean. We're talking about the Wakanda. Nice to meet you."

"Oh. I've already seen you once today. When you tried to stop my father." I said politely.

"Father?" she asked, confused, and Jean immediately seemed bright-eyed as well. "Father!? What do you mean Dean!"

"I was in the cab when she helped Spider Man defend himself against my father."

"I remember that about Spider-Man, but your father? Who are you talking about?"

"Dean's father is Zebediah Killgrave." Said Jean, putting an arm around me to pull me close. Her gentle embrace was all I needed at the moment. I felt the anger and rage turn into insecurity and fear and I began to shake slightly.

"Oh. Shit!" just escaped Oro and continued. "Don't worry Dean. You're among friends here and you're not the only one with a shitty father."

"Oro. That's not language fit for the future queen!" said Jean gently but firmly, then let go of me. "Come on Dean. I'll take you to your room for now. I'm sure you'll need some rest." She smiled and then pulled me with her.

I looked back at Oro and waved at her, which she returned with a smile.
