Story Chapter: Dean has a talk with the X-Men about his Father. A serious one!

After Jean and I had exhausted ourselves, unfortunately, we continued with the real life. The class. This time Scott was the instructor and wanted to teach us things like ethics. We realized that many of us, especially me, were struggling with major ethical problems. By now I had gotten used to either writing down all my questions or not asking them as questions, something I had gotten used to long before this school.

However, I couldn't get the experience with my father out of my head and to my misfortune Scott also used the event as an example. So the topic that burdened me the most was also dealt with in class. However, Scott was fair enough to ask me beforehand if it would bother me if we talked about my father. Since this was not common knowledge, he put a piece of paper on my desk and waited for a nod from me.

After class I was the last and only one to sit and look out the window.

“Are you all right, Dean? I hope the subject didn't weigh you down too much. I know it wasn't an easy subject for you but I'm proud of the way you handled it.”

Grumbling, I looked up and then nodded. He was right. But I had to think again of the dream in which my father had taken everything from me.

“I just ask myself what the point of throwing people into prisons is over and over again, each time with the excuse that it is absolutely safe. Just Monsters like my father are dangerous and I think such people should finally meet the full **** of the law. Every small **** dealer is punished to **** but mega Villians are send to Prison again and again. They can do whatever they want.”

Scott pulled up a chair and took a seat.

“I understand your reasoning and many think like you. But we are not judges Dean. We are the good ones. It's not our job to dispense justice or make judgments. “

“I understand that and I also don´t mean that you should end every fight with a deadly **** or the intend to Kill the Guy. But when it comes to my father... sometimes I wish it were different.” I sighed softly to myself.

To my amazement Scott put his hand on my shoulder and asked me to follow him.

He led me to the basement of the mansion where the training facilities and the labs were. Curious, I followed him into a room where Storm, a woman I didn't know yet, Beast and the professor were already standing or sitting.

“Hey. Do you mind if I brought Dean with me?” he asked after we entered the Room. “He had a meeting with his father today and I thought it would be good to have him at a session. Let him see how we work and why we don't have any easy decisions ahead of us. Do you guys have any objections? And where the Fuck is Logan?”

“No problem Scott, but if you swear like that in front of a student again, your wife is going to blow you apart.” Laughed Storm, catching a jab in the ribs from the other woman who said, grinning with a heavy southern accent.

“Blow job? He's going to have fun with that, honey.”

Immediately Storm blushed and looked at me in panic and embarrassment. Grinning with amusement, I rummaged through my folder of standard responses until I found what I was looking for. Amused, I lifted a piece of paper and grinned. Immediately everyone in the room started laughing as I looked at the note in confusion. It showed a smiley face blowing a happy trumpet and I hastily turned the note over to show two thumbs up.

“Is our sweetheart mute?” Asked the dark-haired woman with the striking white streak.

“No. He is the son of Purple Man, and his ability is that no one can refuse a request from him. “ Hank explained and immediately the woman nodded.

“I understand Sweety. I'm Rouge, by the way. No touching. “

When I looked questioningly at Scott, he grinned. “That means her mutation. She is a thief.”

As soon as he said it, a bright light shot past me, caught him in the chest and catapulted him out the door. Astonished, I stared at Rouge who was laughing and waving the glowing fist. Scott came back in unharmed after a few seconds, grinning.

“And she doesn't like it when I call her that.”

Beast cleared his throat quietly and then began to explain in his calm manner.

“What Scott meant is that Rouge has the extremely rare ability to absorb the mutations of other beings. This refers not only to single mutations but also to abilities caused by DNA changes. In this case, I'm alluding to Cpt Marvel.”

"That's right, my favorite Smurf. She's still mad at me for stealing her beloved cosmic energy."

Scott grinned broadly. "Like a real thief."

"Yeah. You guys really make a good impression on that kid." Smirked Storm in amusement, shaking her head. "So, your father is Purple Man. I'm sorry my boy. It's not an easy fate, but one you're not alone in." She said caringly and immediately I felt better. There was something royal about this woman. Something I had never noticed in a woman before. She was just different.

"Yes. But Jean is taking good care of him. However, I'm a little worried about the boy." Said Scott and smiled at me.

"Dean. What do you think about your father?" Professor X now asked me directly.

"I think he is dangerous. And I wonder how things are going to go. You hear so often about supervillains breaking out of prisons. Why don't the judges punish them more severely? How many more lives do they have to destroy?"

"That's a good question, my boy. Unfortunately, reality is much more complex than you can imagine. The problem is that it is much more complex than you think. The laws of man have not yet been adapted for our powers. Let's take your father. He can impose his will on everyone, but the laws of the United States of America have no provision for Mind Control. Therefore, the courts cannot punish him according to his actions. He is locked up in prisons created for beings like him by organizations like SHIELD or the like."

"And why do you allow this?" I asked impulsively in the direction of Xavier who just smiled.

"Would we be better than him if we took the law into our own hands?" asked Scott me.

"And what about my mother? Did you guys ever think about her life? That she was under his influence?" I asked sourly, feeling a rage rise inside me that I had long suppressed. I had found out about it.

"Dean. I understand exactly how you feel." Beast said calmly and matter-of-factly, but before he could continue Rouge raised his hand.

"Hey, hey. Give me a break girl! The little guy has a point. But that doesn't mean he understands your arguments. You're not in such a fucking -- uh... I mean... he doesn't have your experience." She nodded quietly. "Sweety. Believe me. I know exactly how you feel."

"You do?"

"My mom is Mystique." She said quietly and I nodded and raised my thumb.

"Check! You know how I feel!" I admitted enviously, watching her grin broadly.

"Hey. Us kids of assfuckers OUCH!" she stared at Storm who had stepped on her foot rudely. "What? He won't tell on me in front of Jean! Kid! Don't use those words in front of our red sweetheart!"

The mention of Jean, however, was a red rag to me.

"I wish you would make an exception for HIM! Please!"

Immediately they all looked at me. The only one who could have stopped me was Xavier, but he didn't notice with my changes, thanks to my earlier pleas.

"Dean. Let's take care of this! We'll take care of your father.
