What does Alex do with his mother?

Stop himself at the last moment

Chapter 5 by Javo

Just before his hands made contact with his mother's large, soft, pillowy breasts, Alex stopped himself, pulling back as if burned. What the hell was he doing? Sure, this woman wasn't tecnically his mom, but she was still the woman who birthed him. Doing anything to her would just be wrong.

But as he turned to look at her emotionless, hand print marked face once more, he already felt all that resistance begin to crumble again.

"S-Shit..." Alex already felt his hand shaking as it began moving towards his mother's breasts once more. He had to physically stop it with the other. "M-Mo... Agent Volkov?"

"Yes sir."

Hearing her call him that in that even tone made a tent grow in Alex's pants. "I uh... your orders are to clean my room. Then clean the entire attic. Throw away anything useless or broken and keep the rest." he turned to look at the now dry spill on the living room carpet. "A-And clean that out aswell.

"Yes sir. I begin immediately." Orders finally given, Natasha wasted no time in heading upstairs, giving Alex one last look at her tight jeans hugging her firm ass before disappearing.

Now finally alone again, Alex let out a massive sigh of relief. He knew for a fact that had he been left alone with his mom for even a little bit more, he would have devolved into a frenzied animal in heat. With this, he can get some time alone to get his head right. And as a bonus, Natasha can complete the punishment she set out for him, and when he turns her normal again, he'll get all the credit!

Standing alone in the living room, shivering slightly from what he had almost done, Alex thought about his next move. Not only in the moment, but also on a big picture scale. How the hell was he supposed to just move on from this? His mom was a soviet spy, carrying around decades of most likely classified information his dad has spilled to his beloved wife not knowing any better. And the worst part was, she didn't even know it! She truly believed her feelings for him was real and not just some deep ingraded mission within her brain to marry an american man. Should he just tell her? She might not believe him, but he could always show her the papers. But if he did, how would she react? Would she still deny the facts, even then? Would she gracefully accept it and maybe seek some sort of proffesinal help to debrainwash herself? Or would she maybe suffer some sort of mental episode at the realisation her entire life has been a lie? Alex wasn't sure how (or if) he would tell his mother the truth. But he did know one thing. He needed to find out more on just what the hell operation Vinegar was.

Climbing the stairs, he caught a glimpse of his mother in his room, a laundry basket halway full with his dirty clothes just outside the door. Considering he himself had no idea when he last bothered to clean out his room, he knew the task would keep her preocupied for a good bit. Climbing the pull-down stairs once more and ascended. Finding the box again, he grab the papers and made sure it was completely empty just to be sure he wasn't missing anything. After making extra sure he had gotten everything, he once more began to read the documents. Like before, half of it was impossible for him to read, but from what little he picked up, it seemed like the project was spearheaded by one Vlatko Dvorsky.

Deciding that maybe the internet could hold perhaps some answers to his millions of questions, Alex decided to google some relevant stuff like "soviet experiments" "soviet brainwashing experiments" "Vlatko Dvorsky" "Operation Vingar" "Soviet Operation vingar". But, suprise, suprise, these searches didn't prove much fruitful. Shockingly, it didn't seem like the soviet union were just publishing their secret infeltration scheme for all the world to see. The little he could gather was that a former high ranking soviet researcher named Vlatko Dvorsky (most likely the same one in charge of operation Vingar) had died in a car crash a few years after the soviet union collapsed. Quickly scrolling through his wiki. Alex found no mention of any secret operations he might have been apart of or commanded.

After about a half an hour trying to read the documents, Alex threw his head back in frustration and exhaustion. This was impossible! At this pace, mom was going to be in a retirment home by the time he got to the bottom of this. If only he had someone to translate this all for him. Just as quickly as the thought came to him, Alex slap himself for how stupid he had been. Idiot. He DID have someone who could translate this all for him. Better yet, she was willing to do anything he told her to. Grabbing the papers, he headed down once more.

Stepping of the attic ladder, he found his room empty of mom. He quickly surmissed she had gotten done and then headed downstairs to take care of the spill before tackling the attic. Peeking inside, Alex was almost taken aback by how clean his room looked. Everything in neat order. Not a speck of dust or grime anywhere. All his clothes folded neatly and sorted correctly. It was probably more clean then when his parents bought it. Seems that even when her brain was off, she was still being a neat freak . He wondered if it was something that had been ingrainded into her through the brainwashing, or something that had carried over from the real Natasha to the fake mom one.

Heading downstairs, he found his mom taking care of the spill, several cleaning products sourding her as she was on all fours, her ass sticking up high in the air. Alex felt blood begin to rapidly rush south again. But he quickly controlled himself, closing his eyes and speaking up loudly.

"A-Agent!"

In an instant, Natasha dropped what she was doing and instantly stood up, turning around to face him with her hand to her forhead. "Sir. I was almost done with stain. I was just about to head upstairs and clean the attic as commanded."

Slowly opening his eyes, Alex extended the russian papers towards his mother. "I have a new task for you. I want you to translate these papers into english for me."

Natasha took the documents of the slightly trembling fingers of her son, looked over them once before looking back at him and nooding. "Understood sir. I will see that it is done."

"G-Good. Well then... continue on, agent." Alex made a salute towards his mother, who quickly responded with one of her own.

"Of course sir." With papers in hand, she hurried back up the stairs.

Alone again, Alex sank down onto the couch. With Natasha taking over both cleaning and translating the documents, there wasn't much left for Alex to busy himself with. So, he decided to just sit back and relax until his mom was done with everything. Grabbing his controller, he booted up his game console. He was right back where he left off at the pause screen. Hitting unpause, Alex dove right back in as if nothing had happened. As his fingers flew over the piece of plastic on his hands, fingers pressing down onto buttons at just the right moment, Alex could see himself getting used to this. As freaked out, embarrassed and guilty he had felt at first, he couldn't deny the pleasure of being able to just for once kick back and relax while his mother took care of everything. Just play his game without her constantly breathing down his neck or glaring at him with those eyes that seemed to scream "If only your father were still here to see you like this." He wondered if he could do this more often. Whenever Natasha gave him a chore, just say the codeword and have her deal with it while he relaxed. But as he thought about it more, he decided against it. If he did it constantly, she would start to notice lapses of time in her days eventually. Alex floated the idea of just keeping his mom like this forever. But it was shoot down just as quickly as it apppeared. Partly because he realised Natasha had a life outside of the house and being his mother, and people would most likely raise an eyebrow if she suddenly just stopped leaving the house. But also because a small part of him still felt that this entire thing was wrong.

Alex was so investied in his game, he failed to notice the passing of time around him. Normally, after a few hours, Natasha would show up to stare at him disapprovingly and give him some long lecture about "it's not healthy to stare at a screen for this long." and how he should be studying instead wasting his time on such pointless activites. But with her currently ocupied, he was free to indulge himself was much as he pleased. When his mother finally inturpted him to tell him she was done with her "mission", the sun had already begun to set.

"Huh?" Alex said deleriously, as if broken out of a trance.

"I have completed my mission in cleaning both the attic and your room, washing the stain out of the carpet and translating the documents you gave to me, sir." Natasha repeated once more as she held out the freshly printed documents, her eyes still as focused and empty as they were hours earlier.

"Oh uh, thanks." Alex said, taking the translated documents from his mother's hands. They were still slightly warm from her at home printer. "God, I really lost myself for a bit. What time is it?" he wondered as he reached for his phone. His eyes nearly popped out of his skull as he saw the answer. "6:00 PM!? And you're just done with everything? She wasn't lying when she said it would take the entire day..." Remembering how his mother had planned to make him do all this work, Alex suddenly felt a whole lot less guilty about controlling her.

Standing up, Alex shut off his game console and put his controller away. He turned to Natasha who was still just standing still staring forward blankly and pointed to the couch.

"Agent, sit down on and lay just like how you were before I activated you."

Natasha nodded simply moving towards the couch. "Yes sir." she sat down, picked up her book and laid down in the exact same position she was in before Alex had started all this. All that was missing was a smoothie.

"Okay, just making sure. To turn you back into... the cover personality, all I need to do is repeat the codeword?" Alex asked, making sure he truly knew what he was doing.

"Yes sir. Simply repeat the codeword, and the cover personality will take over once more."

"And she won't remember any of this?"

"Yes sir. To ensure complete seperation and to no compromise the mission, the cover personality will have no memory of what happened during her time spent out of comission.

Satisfied with the answer, Alex steeled himself, making sure he was fully ready before speaking. "Alright. The white bear slumbers under the eagles nest."

In an almost instant, Natasha's grey eyes snapped from cold and lifeless back into their usual self. It was almost a little jarring to witness. Alex instictively took a few steps back. In no time at all, the stone faced, completely obident soldier willing to do whatever commanded of her was gone, and back was his usual stone face mother who demanded he did all.

"Huh? What..." Natasha mumbled as she looked around, her voice a bit groggy as if just waking up. "What time is it? 6:05 pm?! Did I fall asleep?" Confused, she look around the living room, noting the falling sun out the window. As she noticed Alex standing in front of her, she quickly tried to whip herself back into normal, sitting up straighter and wiping the dazed look from her face. "A-Alexi, I didn't hear you come in. I assume since you're here, you are done with the chores I assigned you?"

Alex was almost a little to stund from the instant transition to speak, but quickly landed on his feet and replied, "Y-Yes mother. My room and the entire attic has been cleaned. Just as said."

Natasha got a suspicous look on her face, as if she didn't truly believe him. Her worries were not eased by the skittish and clearly nervous energy her son was giving off. "If that's the case, you wouldn't mind If I went and checked for myself, right?"

"O-Of course not. Go right ahead."

With Alex right behind her, Natasha scaled the stairs. She reached his bedroom door and grabbed the door handle before looking back at Alex, as if saying "this is your last chance to come clean." But when Alex said nothing, she simply sighed and turned the door handle. But as she looks into the room, she finds something truly astonishing. Natasha could barely believe it but, her son's room was... clean. Not just clean, organized. Everything was exactly in it's right place and for the life of her she couldn't find even a speck of dust no matter how much she looked.

"A-Alexi... you actually did it..." Natasha said completely taken aback, as if her son cleaning his room was as grand to her as evidence of extraterrestial life.

"Mhmh, yep. And the attic too." Alex quickly said, pulling down the attic stairs. Natasha climbed up halfway and true to his words, the entire attic was clean as a whistle. More room too since a few boxes were missing.

Natasha climbed back down, struggling with her words. "I just... you really did... good job, Alexi." she finally managed clumsuly, as if complimenting her soon was something foreign to her. Quickly composing herself, she looked at him with her usual stern expression. "Now, I'm sure having to spend your entire day on this has taught you a valubale lesson."

"Oh yeah, definitely mom. I learned something really valubale." Alexi smiled, getting more and more confident.

"Good," Natasha replied simply, not catching the undertone of her son's words. "Well then, I suppose it's time I pepared a dinner. You must me absolutley exhuasted."

"Oh no, I'm still quite full of energy." Alex said cheerily, a big smile on his face. "I guess honest hard work is just really energizing. I can see why you and dad always worked so hard."

Natasha's face shifted from one of strerness into confusion. "Really? You're not tired at all? I mean, I can appriacte the fact you finally see value of a good work ethic, but hell, I've been sleeping all day and even I'm feeling tired." She stretched while letting out a big yawn before moving her hand to rub her cheek. "And my cheek is absolutlet aching. God, It feels like I've been slapped right in the face."

"It's probably just age. When you get to your age mom, you lose energy and things start aching all over."

His mother shot him a quick glare. "I am not that old, Alexi! Just," she let out an exhuasted sigh, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Just head downstairs and get ready for dinner. I'm feeling very proud of you for doing the work I assigned, please don't upset me."

Alex did as told, stepping down the stairs with a smile on his face just outside his mother's view.

Downstairs, Alex sat at the dinner table as Natasha stood over the stove. As she worked, Alexi found his eyes drifiting occasionally to her backside. Before, the way those jeans hugged her curves was something he could only fantasize about late at night when he was sure she had fallen asleep. But now... all he needed to do was use one little word and... No! Nuh uh! Still his mom damn it!

Alex's mind wandering was inturrpeted as a sudden thud could be heard in front of him. Opening his eyes, he saw the dinner his mother had pepared. Spagehtti and meatballs.

"What's this?" Alex asked confused. "You're not going to feed me some gross some that's like, super nutrious or something?"

Natasha sighed. "That was orginally the plan, yes. But, with my sudden nap I didn't have time to pepare the necesarry ingredients. Plus, I suppose since you did spend your entire day working, you can have a reward this time. But don't get used to it! I'm not going to give you some prize for doing what's expected of you all the time."

Alex had a dumb, wide grin on his face as Natasha went to sit down. The kind of grin a kid has when he thinks he's managed to lie to his parents. The way she was congratulating him on a job well done when he had just been playing video games all day never got old. Maybe he should be using this to his advantage more often.

As the meal began, the two ate in complete silence. Nothing out of the ordinary since the depature of his father. Dinner had turned from a time of familial bonding, where Alex would share facts about his day, where his father would complain about work and crack his dumb jokes, and Natasha, while insisting they were terrible, would snicker like a school girl. Now it was just a ritual. Something both Alex and Natasha agreed had to be done, but didn't require anything else between them. But tonight, Alex felt different. More confident. Tonight, this wasn't just a necesarry ritual, this was a chance to discover more about his mother and gauge how much she truly knew about her other life.

"Uhm... mom?" he began cautiously.

Natasha stopped as if shocked for a second, but answered him normally. "Yes Alexi. What is it?"

"How was... how was your life before you meet dad? Like, back when you lived in russia and all."

Natasha face morphed into one of confusion. "What's with this all of a sudden? You've never intrested in my life before. Certinalty not anything relating to my home country."

"W-Well you know, when I was cleaning the attic, I found this old photo album with pictures of you and dad when you first got together." Alex quickly came up with an excuse, hoping it sounded convincing enough. "So it got me wondering what type of person you were before dad."

Natasha put her cutlery, sighing a little. "All right, I suppose If you're really curious. My life before I meet your father was... well It wasn't much of a life at all. I grew up in a small village, not much to do during the days. I was the only young woman around, so I didn't have many friends. And I would constantly draw the eyes of the working men there whenever I was out walking." disgust colored her tone briefly. "I decided from very young that my only goal would be to leave that backwater place as soon as humanly possible. So, I threw myself into my studies. Eventually I got myself into a nice school. I moved out of the village for my education and made it to the big city. I worked multiple jobs to pay for an apartment close enough to campus. I didn't socalize much, just keept my eyes glued to my goal. After some time, I had graduated. And," she paused before continuing. "And I wasn't sure what to do, Alexi. I had always focused on this one goal, I didn't know what to do after it."

"After some much contemplating, I decided I needed to find myself. So I took whatever money I had saved up and bought a ticket to the U.S.A. It was there, while touring some national monuments, I meet him. Your father."

her voice suddenly took on a dream like quality. Before, she had been telling the story in a nutrual, almost robotc tone. But the moment she got to his father, Alex could almost see the light begin to shine in her eyes.

"Oh, your father Alexi. I could almost still remember everything about the day that I meet him. It might sound a bit cliche, but I think my heart genuinely stopped." she chuckled. A real, atuthentic laugh that Alex hadn't heard in what felt like forever. "It was like... I had been lost my entire life. Wandering without a purpose. Then I meet him and everything just... clicked. It all made sense. He was the man who held all the answers."

"Eventually he noticed my staring and walked up to intrdouce himself. I was such a suttering mess, I don't think I got a single real word out." the image almost didn't register in Alex's mind. His prim and proper mother, even a younger version before all the responsibilites of life, stuttering akwaradly just didn't exist in his head. "It's still a shock to me he decided to take me out for a date. And then another. And then another. And before I knew it almost a year had passed. The people around me said I was moving way too fast, but I didn't listen. I knew I was making the right choice. That this was my place. So, I asked him for a ring. I didn't out right ask him to marry me. I still want to have some traditional experiences. But I dropped some very heavy, none subtle hints. And he not so shockingly caught them, getting down on his knees on our first year anniversary. We had our wedding and it was oh so beautiful. He picked this gorgeous recieption, I had on a dress that made me feel like a queen and his vows they just..." Alex noticed Natasha begin to tear up, her face quickly being buried in her hands to hide her leakage of emotions.

"I-I'm so sorry Alexi. I-I know this isn't proper. It's just... talking about your father..." she said through a shaky voice, trying to keep it together but Alex could hear the sobs.

Sitting up from his chair, Alex reached over and put his hand over his mother's. Not a full hug, just a simple anchor to remind her he was there. "It's okay mom. I miss dad too. Alot."

Feeling her son's hand, Natasha slowly opened her watery eyes. She raised her head to look at him, a soft smile on her face. "You have his eyes..." she whispered, reaching up with her free hand to cup his cheeks. It was the first afectionate touch she had given him since the funeral. "You look more and more like him every single day..."

Alex didn't respond, but he made a promise internally. Never, under any circumstances could he tell his mom about the brainwashing. She truly loved his father. This wasn't just play acting, this was real emotions. If she ever found out it was manufacured, that they weren't real. He feared her brain might genuinely snap.

After dinner was over, both Alex and his mother headed to bed. Altough, Alex wasn't going to do much sleeping. He decided to stay up past his bed time and read through the translted documents. Sure, he was going to be tired as hell tomorrow, but fuck it. It was a weekday anyway.

He waited until the time when his mother usually went to sleep, then sat up and turned on his bedside lamp and pulled out the papers. But just as he started reading, a sudden sound caught his ears.

*SLICK* *SLICK* *SLICK*

Alex paused.

*SLICK* *SLICK* *SLICK*

There it was again. Some sort of wet, slapping sound.

*SLICK* *SLICK* *SLICK*

Carefully getting up and navegating into the hallway, Alex found that the source of the noise was coming from behind his mother's door.

*SLICK* *SLICK* *SLICK*

Behind mom's door? That was weird. Mom was usually alseep at this time. What the hell could be happening in there?

*SLICK* *SLICK* *SLICK*

Maybe it's something relating to her spy side? Perhaps him triggering her wake up phrase had caused some sort of singal to be sent home? Perhaps she was packing right now, considering her mission comprimised and needing to return immediately.
