Step-mom going through a divorce

Cassandra "don't call me Cassie" Banks had just filed for divorce from her husband. They were always arguing about money with her husband Jim accusing her of spending too much on "frivolous things" such as clothing, jewelry, spa days, girls' brunches with friends, etc.

Cassandra had two stepchildren: 18-year-old twins - a boy Peter, and a girl Cassidy.

Despite the divorce, no one moved out of the large 5-bedroom house. Jim moved into the pool house, and the kids just kept their distance from Cassandra, whom they never gotten along with.

Cassandra received an embossed invitation to a new day spa in the mail. It was good for a full day of treatments. There was no return address.

She made an appointment and a few days later was at the spa getting started on her treatment.
