Stay

"I'd like to stay," Your gaze quickly shifts to Lance before he can get a word in edge wise, "But dont want to be a burden." You pause, letting the two think about the non-answer, "I was told that I can stay here for a few days, so that's what I'm going to do."

"I really dont want to be alone," You've never spoken words more true than those, "I'll help in any way that I can while I'm here, and in a few days, you two can talk about it." You look at Lance, "If either of you have any misgivings, or I'm more trouble than I'm worth, then I'll leave without an argument."

"But if I you both want me to stay," You trail off, "Well, I think I'd like that."
