Starting from Zero

Selina's spent a lot of time proving that she isn't insane. Nothing personal, really-- It comes with the territory! Every criminal is a lunatic, every hero has some kind of complex. But Selina's different. She's not built for Arkham. She's just a girl that likes nice things!

At least, that's what she used to say. But currently... She's being a bit crazy.

One of her safe houses was raided. Everything of value-- So, everything-- Was whisked away to who knows where! Selina wasn't sure if it was a crime boss, or if the GCPD had finally honed in on her. She was livid at first! On a warpath! But as her temper cooled, and the reality set in...

Selina was... Pleased. Because it meant that she could steal those things all over again! Perhaps she didn't like HAVING nice things. She liked taking them.

With that in mind, she began to clear out her inventory. Paintings, statues, jewels. All anonymously returned! Lavish clothes she'd taken on a whim were donated. All of this seemed pretty good on paper, noble even! But that's when things went... Overboard.

Years of having everything she needed. Suddenly, NOT having things felt... Exciting.

Furniture. Personal belongings. The funds in her bank accounts, donated to every animal organization she could find. She'd have to raid a few banks to make up for this, and the anticipation made up for any fear or doubt in her mind!

Her Catwoman suit and tools were... Harder to justify.

Pretty important to reclaiming her fortune. But this would serve as an extra challenge! She'd let the Gotham Museum hold onto it for some time before swiping it back. That would be first.

This had been an exhausting endeavor. But as Selina looked at her now bare apartment... Aside from anything her precious cats might need... She felt a weird sense of satisfaction.

She'd already gone WAY overboard. THIS was behavior that justified an Arkham vacation. She'd given up everything she had! Or... Almost. As her hands glided over the rather basic hoodie and pajama pants on her body...
