Standing on the Doorstep → Standing in Gothic Ballroom

What next? I guess a change of scenery would be appropriate, no? Imagining the sort of place I'd see mom's character standing, I replace 'standing on the doorstep' with 'standing in gothic ballroom.'

The building around Mom twists and bends and restructures itself. The foyer is replaced with a smooth redwood wall with yellow-gold trim and numerous mounted candelabra lamps. The floor -already hardwood - acquires a massive red decorative rug laden with numerous flowery icons.

Meanwhile, Mom's skin darkens another shade and loses a lot of its warmth while her ears continue to taper and elongate. Her expression becomes colder and stern, while her corset parts from her dress to leave a small window just above her ass. Lather braces appear on her arms, and she acquires a pair of golden earrings to finalize the changes to her current attire.

Good progress. Now what?
