Standing in a Castle Bedroom → Waiting for Noble Audiance (James)
I suppose I've little to do but stand, waiting for a noble audience, such as... What was her higness' recent paramour named again? Ah, right: James--
-- seems to be taking his time. Or perhaps that is unfair: a meeting with the King is surely important. And I can hardly measure time myself currently anyway. Yes, most unfair. I've no need to make judgement and have patience to spare besides. That comes from being a servant of the castle: I've no room for ego or arrogance when my purpose and role in life is to display myself for the nobility I serve after all. It's written into my being, clear as day, by my class.
It is a little lonely, though, waiting here. I hope his majesty does not hold them overlong: her highness was so dearly looking forward to showing me off to her man.
