Standing in a Castle Bedroom → Attending a Formal Ball

I must admit, almost anything would be preferable to this stillness. I could say I'd nearly rather be anywhere else than 'standing in (this) castle bedroom,' even 'attending a formal ball' and those are terribly dull--

--which is why I slipped through some curtains into a side room for some privacy, only to find evidence Arma had apparently been, ahem, enjoying the company of her lover there. Amidst the various unmentionables forgotten here when they... rushed from the ball earlier...?

Staring into its face caused a bright flash of light, and now... here we are. It reflects me in perfect, unnatural clarity, shining all the while, along with some... strange emblems and symbols in a language I don't quite recognize. A language with strange script that, even as I try to comprehend it, shifts into that with which I am familiar.

It would seem it is simply describing myself? Although something feels peculiar about the description, it looks to be quite accurate. Curiously enough, there seem to be some emblems below this description that say things like 'Change,' 'Add,' 'Remove,' or even 'Recommend.' It's all quite strange but... somehow...

...somehow I feel that the description, strangely stilted as it is, is absolutely true. And that even were I to change and modify it, this device would somehow assure that remains so.

Dare I attempt it? There's also a button labeled 'Exit' so... I could free myself now, if I wanted. I've been standing here for... how long have I been standing here again? Long enough, surely.
