How does an evening with Angel Seven go?

Spilling all your secrets

Chapter 15 by Yabusa Yabusa

After swinging by Angel Seven's apartment to pack a few things for a stay of a couple nights with you and Angel Five--and a stop by Taco Stock for a big bag of crunchy tacos--you sat on the couch next to Angel Seven, working through the meal while you watched an athletic reality show in the background. It took some coordination with Angel Five to not look silly with her mouth hanging open or crushing a taco against closed lips, but like most things, you'd acclimated in your bodily partnership quite well. At this point, with all the excitement, you felt like you were really just synchronized as one body.

Of course, Angel Seven seemed to notice as well. "Hey, I haven't seen your Rider anywhere, I thought he was sick?"

"Uh, he is, he's... sleeping."

brushing her red hair from her face with a frown, Angel Seven looked at the two-bedroom layout, where one bed was meant to be a temporary guest room but both doors were wide open. "Sleeping where? Is he really here?"

"I, uh..." Angel Five frowned, as you relaxed into the couch as you waited to hear her impromptu explanation. To be fair, leaving the doors open was your fault, but you hadn't been given much time to plan. "He's... out, with family. Sleeping at his family's place."

That wasn't a very good lie, you thought. All your family lives out of town.

"That's not a very good lie," Angel Seven said suddenly, as you possibly put a little too much influence into Seven in that moment. "I can just tell. Five, you can just tell me the truth! I would really appreciate it if you'd trust me, whatever it is, I won't tell anyone."

Angel Five bit her lip, glancing at her friend. Of the ten Angels, Seven seemed like the one that Five resonated most with. You clenched your fists, hoping she didn't go too far...

"Rider Five is inside my body right now, he replaced my Endo with himself and has been moving me around, that's why I didn't have the usual Angel gear because we couldn't use it, but this synthetic Yabusa being named Tex sort of phase-binded us some new gear so we could come find you and helped clean you out of nanites, well most of the nanites, there's still some different ones in your head that seemed like it disabled you and made you stand still all night but Rider Five is sharing part of his brain with you right now remotely so you can process thoughts normally."

Smooth. That was a lot of secrets in a very little amount of time.

Angel Seven blinked. "...Oh." She tilted her head a little, looking at her taco. "Should I be more bothered by all that? I feel like I should. You just told me there's still nanites in my head? But it's not shocking to me."

"Probably because it isn't shocking to Rider Five, he's right here after all and knew all about it. Still, don't be mad or anything, please! I really think if we didn't do anything like that, you might still be mindless and probably in a hospital right now. I think Tex can help us figure out how to get you back to normal in a safer way."

With a smile, Angel Seven shook her head. "I'm not mad. It's just weird, I'm only... mostly me, I guess? Huh. Oh, and who is Tex? Can I meet them?"

Without warning, your clothes peeled off of you, causing Angel Five to shriek when the jacket and jeans slithered away! You didn't think to cover up anything like your chest, crossing your legs over your lap only, but you didn't really mind Angel Five being nude--and thus, Seven seemed to be literally of the same mind. She glanced over, then at the more interesting floating clothing that stood before you two!

"Greetings, I am Tex," the synthetic being in the shape of your outfit said without a shred of concern for your nude self, waving a hollow arm at Angel Seven. "I am a synthetic construct who has been instructed by Yabusa to assist with the apprehension of these rogue nanite structures. I've been accompanying Unit Five all day, usually as their attire or armor. It is a pleasure to be able to properly say hello!"

Seven smiled, standing up to examine the empty clothes. "Oh wow, that's amazing!" She put her hands on the hips of the jeans, pushing and prodding and squeezing curiously. "It feels like someone is really wearing you still. You can do this with any clothes?"

As the two conversed, you couldn't help but get a little excited at seeing the redhead squeezing the rear of another body, even though there wasn't truly a body in those jeans. You felt a twinge of heat between your legs, and almost instantly, Angel Seven brought a hand to rub along her own breast, as if she shared that signal with your thoughts getting a little out of hand.

"Unit Five, you may wish to focus on other avenues of thought for the moment, if this is merely an accident?" Tex had noticed the change of behavior, and you turned your head away, as Angel Five blushed slightly. With a slightly puzzled look as she looked down at herself, Angel Seven stopped her groping. "Yes, I have a lot of clothes stored in my memory, and considerable fabric to create objects with. I can synthesize or modify clothing, armor, machinery, and even organic matter to some extent if I am present within a body. My predecessor typically resides within a human body as his preference, but I don't feel like being limited to just that."

Angel Seven smiled again, a hand around the jeans, leading them back to the couch and taking a seat, tugging them into her lap. "Well, if I'm going to be sticking around here for a little bit, perhaps I can borrow Tex for a little bit for myself? I'd love to learn more about this." She rubbed the hips of the empty jeans in her lap, running her hand along those denim legs.

"Is that truly your interest, or more what's being transmitted from Rider Five?" Tex queried, as the jacket eventually floated over to sit atop the jeans as well and complete the look of an invisible being in Angel Seven's lap.

You shook your head, crossing your legs. "If anyone knows, Angel Five, it would be you... I'm not influencing those thoughts."

Angel Seven tilted her head. "Does it matter where the inspiration comes from, really? I feel like I want to gain a better understanding with Tex, maybe try on such an interesting outfit. If Rider Five is influencing my behavior, I guess... I don't care? Could I care, even? Rider Five, you can make me want to do anything you also want to do, I guess. I'm not going to shame your brain if it's helping me stay conscious!"

Angel Five ahems. "Yes, well... Rider Five, if you don't mind, could we go get some pajamas? Since our outfit is AWOL..."

You stood up and casually strolled to the bedroom to get some clothes for Angel Five, not in as much of a hurry as she might have liked. It also gave a little time for you two to chat one on one, something you hadn't had for most of the day.

"Is it wrong that I'd be okay with taking up her offer to influence her?" you asked Angel Five.

Your body-partner snorted. "I wouldn't mind seeing what you would make Seven do, but I'm not the best one to ask, like if you're asking for ethics. I won't tell you no, just don't hurt her and get us fired, okay? Though, I'm legitimately curious about Tex's abilities, if Tex were to go into Seven... but I kind of want to keep Tex to myself too! Maybe I need to get Tex back on my side..."

"If you want to play around with Tex, maybe Seven can help me get out of you. I could spend time working with Seven while you and Tex figure things out, yeah?"

So many decisions! At least you've got a three-day weekend, essentially, to work through whatever scenario interested you.
