Spike and the Dragons gathering

Back in the library, Spike paced back and forth, muttering to himself. "Ponies' dick... yeah right. Rarity's different. She's classy. She appreciates a dragon with ambition." He stopped and looked at himself in the polished marble floor. Purple scales, green spines, and a belly full of fire, and officaly a adult age. Not bad. Not bad at all. Spike grabbed a quill and parchment. "Dear Rarity," he began, then crumpled it. "My dearest Rarity." Crumple. "Hey, want to grab dinner?" Crumple. "Ugh, why is this so hard?" he groaned. "Twilight makes it look easy." He thought about her comment. "She usually prefers the company of a ponies dick." That stung. But Spike knew Rarity was more than just a flirty mare. She had dreams, ambitions, a sense of style. And he was eighteen now. A grown dragon. Time to act like one. He took a deep breath. "Alright, Spike. Man up. Or... dragon up."

Just as Spike was about to write another draft, a small puff of green smoke appeared above his head. A scroll materialized, unfurling with a soft crinkle. He caught it, recognizing the dragon-scale seal. "Smolder?" he muttered, breaking the wax. The letter read: Hey Spike, Some of us dragons are getting together at the Dragon Cave tonight.Thought you might want to get out of that castle for once. You're eighteen now, right? Time to hang with the cool dragons. Meet me at the mouth of the cave by midnight. - Smolder P.S. There's going to be a special guest. Spike read it twice, his brow furrowing. A special guest? Who could that be? Rarity? No, She wouldn't invite Rarity to a dragon gathering. Unless... He looked at the half-written letter to Rarity, then back at Smolder's invitation. "Midnight, huh?" he said to himself, a grin spreading across his face. "Twilight said not to stay out too late. But she didn't say anything about not going out." He folded Smolder's letter and tucked it into his scales. a special guest. Spike headed for the door. "Sorry, Rarity. Date night will have to wait."

Spike made his way through the darkened streets of Ponyville, his heart thumping with a mix of excitement and nervousness. The cool night air felt different tonight—charged, electric. He'd never been to a real dragon gathering before, not like this. Not as an adult. The path to the Dragon Cave wound through the Everfree Forest, but Spike knew it well. He'd traveled it countless times, though never at midnight. The trees seemed to whisper as he passed, and the moonlight filtered through the leaves in silver patches. When he reached the mouth of the cave, he saw Smolder leaning against the rocky entrance, her tail flicking lazily. "Right on time," she said with a grin. "Thought you might chicken out." "Please," Spike scoffed, puffing out his chest. "I'm eighteen now. I don't chicken out of anything." Smolder laughed. "We'll see about that. Come on, everyone's inside." The cave opened up into a massive chamber, lit by glowing crystals embedded in the walls. A dozen dragons of various sizes lounged around, some playing cards, others drinking from stone mugs. The air smelled of smoke and something sweet, like burning honey. "Make way for the birthday dragon!" Smolder announced, shoving Spike forward. A few dragons cheered. Some nodded in acknowledgment. Spike felt a warmth spread through his chest. This was... nice. Being around his own kind. "So," Spike said, trying to sound casual, "you mentioned a special guest?" Smolder's grin widened. "Yeah, about that. She's been asking about you. Ever since the whole Gauntlet of Fire thing." Before Spike could ask, the crowd of dragons parted. And there she was. Ember. But not the Ember he remembered. The dragoness who stepped forward was... different.

Herscales shimmered with a deep, aquamarine luster that seemed almost liquid in the crystal light. Each scale caught the glow and refracted it, creating a halo of warmth around her. Her form was more refined, more... mature. There was a suppleness to her frame, a fullness to her curves that hadn't been there before. And her eyes. Those golden, slitted eyes held a depth that drew Spike in, made it hard to look away. They sparkled with intelligence, confidence, and something else, a slight crimson hue— that made his stomach flutter. "Spike," she said, her voice a low, melodic purr. "I was hoping you'd come." Spike opened his mouth, but no words came out. He just stared. Smolder elbowed him. "Close your mouth, you're catching flies." "E-Ember?" Spike finally managed. "You look... different." Ember chuckled, a sound that resonated through the cave. "I should hope so. I've embraced my destiny, fully." She stepped closer, and Spike caught a whiff of something intoxicating—like cinnamon and embers. "I am no longer Dragon Lord. I am reborn as the Dragon Queen now." She said it with such authority, such finality, that Spike felt his knees go weak. "Dragon Queen," he repeated, the words tasting strange on his tongue. Ember circled him slowly, her tail brushing against his back. "Yes. And I've been thinking about you, Spike. About your courage. Your loyalty. Your... unique perspective." She stopped in front of him, her face inches from his. Those eyes bore into his, and Spike felt like he was falling into them. "I believe you have potential," she said softly. "Potential that all the dragons here has shown. And I want to explore that potential. Personally.....and bring you all into the masteres new kingdom as he did for me a few hours ago ."

Spike blinked, trying to process everything Ember had said. "Master's new kingdom?" he repeated. "What are you talking about?" Ember smiled mysteriously. "All in good time, little dragon. Tonight is for celebration." She gestured broadly. "Eat, drink, mingle. We have much to discuss, but not until you've enjoyed yourself." With that, she glided away, leaving Spike standing there, confused and strangely excited. Smolder appeared at his side, grinning. "Well, that was something." "Yeah," Spike said slowly. "What was that about a master's kingdom?" Smolder shrugged. "No idea. But Ember's been acting weird all night. In a good way, I think. Come on, let's get you a drink." They wandered over to a table laden with stone mugs. A large, grey dragon with tusks poured something that looked like liquid fire into a mug and handed it to Spike. "Careful, little one," the dragon rumbled. "This stuff has kick." Spike took a sip. It burned going down, but in a pleasant way. Warmth spread through his chest. "Not bad," he said. Smolder laughed. "You're a natural." They found a spot near the wall, watching the other dragons. Some were dancing, others arm wrestling. A group of smaller dragons were telling jokes near a fire pit. "So," Smolder said, leaning close. Her voice dropped to a whisper. "What do you think of Ember?" "She's... impressive," Spike admitted. "Just impressive?" Smolder raised an eyebrow. "I saw the way you looked at her." Spike felt his cheeks heat up. "Okay, fine. She's beautiful. But she's also... intense." "That's our lord, all though she prefees queen now for some reason," Smolder said, but there was a hint of something else in her voice. She moved closer, her shoulder brushing against Spike's. "You know, there are other dragons here tonight. If you're interested." Spike looked around. Smolder was right. There were dragons of all shapes and sizes, male and female, some eyeing him with curiosity. "Like who?" Spike asked, playing along. Smolder's grin widened. "Well, there's Garble. But he's a jerk. There's Fizzle, over there by the fire pit. He's sweet. And then..." She paused, her eyes meeting Spike's. "There's me." Spike's breath caught. "You?" "Yeah, me." Smolder's tail curled around his. "I've always liked you, Spike. Even when you were a little bookworm back in Ponyville. You're different. You're brave. And you're the only dragon who's ever made me laugh." Before Spike could respond, smolders lips was upon his, passionately kissing him.

Her claw found its way down his body, tracing the scales of his chest before coming to rest at his waist. She broke the kiss just long enough to whisper, "I've wanted this for so long," before her talons found his dragon crotch, stroking him firmly through his scales. Spike gasped, his body responding instinctively to her touch. Her claws were surprisingly gentle, yet firm, exploring the sensitive area with deliberate strokes that made him shudder. "Smolder..." he breathed, but she silenced him with another kiss, her tongue darting into his mouth as her hand continued its work below., his dragon phallus emerging from his body erect. Around them, the other dragons had either not noticed or didn't care. The party continued, but for Spike, the world had narrowed to just Smolder's touch, her taste, her presence. She pulled back slightly, her eyes glinting with mischief. "I've been thinking about this since the last time we fought together." Her hand never stopped its motion, stroking him with increasing urgency. Spike's claws dug into the stone wall behind him.

Spike's mind raced. Rarity. Her name echoed in his thoughts, a beacon of everything he'd ever wanted. But Rarity was out of reach, a dream he'd been chasing for years with little progress. And here was Smolder, real and warm and wanting him. It's not like we're together, Spike rationalized. Rarity and I... we're not anything. Not really. She's never shown that kind of interest in me. Smolder's touch grew bolder, more insistent. Her claws traced the length of his shaft, sending jolts of pleasure through his body. She pulled back, her eyes searching his. "You're thinking too hard," she murmured. "Stop thinking. Just feel." Spike looked at her—her confident smile, her eager eyes, her body pressed against his. She wanted him. Right here, right now. And a part of him, a part he'd never fully acknowledged, wanted her too. He made his decision. "No," he said softly, gently catching her wrist. Smolder's face fell. "Oh. I understand. You want Rarity." "It's not that," Spike said quickly. "I mean, it is, but... I'm not with her. We're not together. It's just..." He took a breath. "This is happening fast. And I want it. I do. But I want to be sure." Smolder's expression softened. "Take your time, Spike. I'm not going anywhere." Spike leaned in and kissed her, slower this time, more deliberate. His claws found her waist, pulling her close. "Okay," he whispered against her lips. "I'm sure." Smolder's tail wrapped around his leg, and she guided him away from the wall, toward a shadowed alcove where the party's noise faded to a dull roar. She pushed him gently against the cool stone, her body pressing against his. "Good," she breathed, her hand returning to its work. "Because I've been patient long enough." Her claws resumed their stroking, and Spike let himself go, surrendering to the sensation. Her touch was electric, sending waves of pleasure through his body. He moaned softly, his claws finding purchase on her shoulders. "Smolder," he gasped. "Shh," she whispered, her mouth finding his neck. "Just enjoy it." And he did. He let himself be lost in her touch, her warmth, her scent. For tonight, at least, he was hers. And that was more than enough.
