Speak to a student counsellor

Alex cleared her throat and looked at the secretary. "Do you think that I could get a walkthrough of what kind of classes I have been signed up for?" She asked with a smile. She was trying to be polite, especially as this woman knew her mother, but it was hard since she was nervous and feeling a bit on edge.

The secretary looked up and thought for a moment. "I can't really go over that with you, but you could talk to a student counsellor if you want. They are great at giving directions and helping the girls figure out what kind of school experience they want."

Alex nodded. It seemed like a good idea to find out what was going on.

Alex had gotten a small map of the various locations on the campus grounds and she could see that the counsellor's office had been located not that far away. She walked through a couple of halls that seemed to be almost empty and she realized that she was in the employee part of the campus.

Seeing a door with the word "Counsellor" written on it, she walked inside.

A woman wearing a strange mix of lingerie and formal dress adjusted her glasses as Alex stepped in.

"Hi there, are you Rachel's gal? I am Amanda, I graduated a year before your mom" She says with a smile clearly recognizing Alex's features. "Your mother actually told me to talk to you, but I thought I would do it after the introduction, however, if you want to I can give you the special gift now."
